The body includes a thickness (T) extending between the outer surface and the inner surface. The document landing surface is connected to the inner surface. The inner surface and the document landing surface define a cavity extending through a portion of a length (L) of the body. An assembly is also disclosed.

摘要： A hand-operated document processor includes a base including a perforated bed for receiving a document containing magnetic ink character data to be read and recognized. The base defines a chamber under the perforated bed. A manually operated moving magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) subsystem includes a MICR read head and is attached to the base such that movement of the subsystem causes the MICR read head to pass over the magnetic ink character data on the document. MICR reading and recognition logic receives the signal from the MICR read head. A document positioning and retentioning device connected to the base includes a manually-powered anti-skew device for creating a vacuum. The created vacuum is provided to the chamber under the perforated bed such that the vacuum, acting through the perforations, securely holds the document during the scanning operation.

摘要： A document jogger jogs unit records such as checks and like value documents. The jogger has a bin for receiving the documents, and a vibrator coupled to the bin to vibrate it. A liner is adapted to be removably attached to the bin. The liner has an impact absorbing flexible material attached to the liner to absorb the shock of the documents as the bin is vibrated. A thin abrasion resistant, low friction layer covers the flexible material to prevent documents from damaging the flexible material and allows the documents to slide easily. The thin abrasion resistant, low friction layer is also soft enough to permit the flexible material to absorb the shock of said documents.

摘要： A latch mechanism latches a seat back (40), which is moveable relative to a seat base (20) between an upright position and a folded position. The latch mechanism comprises a pawl (60) connected with the seat back (40). The pawl (60) is moveable relative to the seat back (40) between an engaged position in which the pawl (60) is effective to prevent movement of the seat back (40) from the upright position and a disengaged position in which the pawl (60) is ineffective to prevent movement of the seat back (40) from the upright position. The latch mechanism further comprises a retaining member (100) connected with the seat back (40). The retaining member (100) is moveable from a first position to a second position upon movement of the seat back from the upright position. The retaining member (100) is effective to retain the pawl (60) against movement to the engaged position relative to the seat back (40) when the retaining member (100) is in the second position.
