摘要： Load input to an occupant from a buckle is reduced. A lift-up buckle device includes a buckle that engages with a tongue inserted through webbing worn by an occupant. The lift-up buckle device also includes wires that each include a portion configuring a first fixed portion fixed to the buckle side and another portion configuring a supported portion supported by a wire guide, and that move the buckle due to a distance between the fixed portions and the supported portions being changed. Respective locations between the fixed portions and the supported portions of the wires are displaced in a direction intersecting an engaged direction of the tongue when an external force in a direction of the engaged direction of the tongue has been input to the buckle.

摘要： A safety belt positioning device includes a top cover and a bottom cover pin jointed together, wherein a clasp is configured interior of a clasp-eye of the top cover, and the positioning device is fixedly secured directly on a location of the safety belt by means of the clasp, which not only effectuates easy installation, but also convenient adjustment thereof. The present invention is characterized in that the positioning device is moveably disposed on the safety belt, and upon using the safety belt, the clasp of the positioning device is utilized to fixedly secure length of the safety belt in accordance to physique of the passenger, thereby achieving objective of adjusting degree of tightness of the safety belt. Moreover, because of a tensile force of an interior spring, re-pullback on the safety belt will not occur, which thus provides even greater comfort to a passenger when seated.

摘要： A system for positioning occupant restraints in a vehicle includes a pair of cooperative embodiments. A first embodiment comprises a clamp removably securable about an occupant restraint belt (preferably the shoulder strap, but the device may be applied to the lap belt, as well). The device includes a lateral slide bearing upon a pressure plate for applying clamping pressure to the belt. The clamp is particularly useful in securing to a shoulder harness, to preclude retraction of the strap through the nullBnull pillar guide for allowing some slack in the strap for occupant comfort. The second embodiment comprises two mating components hinged together at one end, with a series of mating slots therein. A shoulder harness slot and latch mechanism is provided opposite the hinge. The device is opened and secured about the support rods of an adjustable height headrest, with the shoulder strap passing through the shoulder strap guide.

摘要： A slip-on seat belt tension adjustment clip for relieving the tension from the shoulder strap of a seat belt assembly. The clip is made from a flexible polymer and is one piece. It has a handle with two outwardly extending clip arms. One of the clip arms has a convex curve along its inner surface and the other clip arm is spaced a constant distance from the first clip arm. A user may simply slip on the clip adjacent the guide loop and relieve the normal constant tension which otherwise exists in the shoulder strap. The clip may then be easily removed by pulling it off.

摘要： A system for installing a baby seat, of the type that includes a transverse channel within a base, in an automobile. A clip that includes a bell spring with arms bonded to planar pads permits the installer to maintain the extended position of the automobile seat belt against retraction. An elongated member includes a handle and a clip at its opposed ends. The elongated member and the clip in combination exceed the length of the transverse channel, permitting the installer to insert the elongated member into the channel. The clip is thereby readily accessible to the engagement plate at the end of the seat belt at the same time that the handle can be grasped from the other side of the baby seat. This permits the installer to thread the baby seat through the transverse channel for subsequent engagement to a mating seat belt buckle.

摘要： A shoulder belt positioner is provided for vehicles, and the like of the type having safety belt restraint systems. The positioner comprises a flexible strap having a hanger bracket at one end, and an open hook at the other end. The hanger bracket releasably supports the positioner on the door of the vehicle, preferably by an inverted U-shaped clip that is closely received in the window slot of the vehicle door. The positioner hook has a generally V-shaped configuration to releasably engage the shoulder belt in the extended, locked position, and pull the same slightly off of the user's shoulder to provide improved comfort. The positioner hook automatically releases the shoulder belt when the belt is moved to its retracted, storage position. The positioner preferably moves with the door as it is opened to an out of the way location to permit unobstructed exit from and entry into the vehicle.
