摘要: A lettering machine is disclosed, which comprises a tracer support mechanism supporting a tracer at a corner such that the tracer can be freely moved to trace a letter or the like engraved on a tracing plate, a parallelogrammic horizontal component transmission mechanism via an inclination angle setting mechanism and capable of transmitting only the horizontal component of the tracing motion of the tracer on an equal scale, an enlarged scale or a reduced scale and/or a preset inclination angle, a parallelogrammic vertical component transmission mechanism coupled to the tracer support mechanism and capable of transmitting only the vertical component of the tracing motion of the tracer on an equal scale, an enlarged scale or a reduced scale, a resultant motion reproducing mechanism coupled to the parallelogrammic horizontal and vertical component transmission mechanisms and capable of combining the horizontal and vertical components of tracer motion transmitted from the respective transmission mechanisms to reproduce the tracer motion on an equal scale, an enlarged scale or a reduced scale and/or the preset inclination angle, and a writing tool support mechanism coupled to the reproducing mechanism and capable of supporting a writing tool at a free end. With this lettering machine, it is possible to write letters on horizontally and/or vertically enlarged or reduced scales and also with desired inclination angles as well as ordinary equal scale letters.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a lighting device includes a radiation surface, at least one light source provided to face the radiation surface, and an optical control member provided between the radiation surface and the light source and includes optical characteristics of transmission, diffraction, diffusion, and reflection, which vary for regions in the optical control member, a distribution of each of the optical characteristics being determined by positions relative to the at least one light source. The optical control member is formed in a sheet shape which is controlled by at least one of a reflective film having a reflection factor distribution, and a reflective film having a numerical aperture distribution, and lenses.

摘要: The cathode ray tube apparatus comprises a main lens constructed by focus, intermediate, and final acceleration electrodes. The main lens includes a focusing area positioned in a side of the focus electrode, and a diverging area positioned in a side of the final acceleration electrode. A focusing force curve expressing the focusing force along the tube-axis direction in the focusing area has two convex parts respectively being at first and second levels, and a concave part provided between the convex parts and being at a third level sufficiently lower than the first and second levels. The third level is set to a lowermost level at which a focusing or diverging force is not substantially effected on the electron beam. An intermediate electrode having a non-circular shaped hole is positioned near an area of the lowermost level.

摘要: An inline type electron gun assembly has a main lens for focusing three electron beams on a phosphor screen. A resistor is arranged in a cathode ray tube. A voltage obtained by dividing a high voltage with the resistor is applied to an intermediate electrode. Voltages of a focusing electrode, the intermediate electrode, and a final accelerating electrode that constitute the main lens are determined to increase sequentially. Electron beam holes in the intermediate electrode on the focusing electrode side, and electron beam holes in the intermediate electrode on the final focusing electrode side form vertically elongated holes longer in the vertical direction than in the horizontal direction. Electron beam holes in the focusing electrode on the intermediate electrode side and electron beam holes in the final accelerating electrode on the intermediate electrode side form open holes having no side wall portions. A color cathode ray tube having an electron gun assembly capable of improving resolving power can be provided.
