摘要： A media gateway controller (MGC) is described herein that implements a shared risk group package to control and prevent a media gateway (MG) from establishing redundant links like a primary link and a secondary link that use resources that share the same risk of failure. Essentially, the MGC uses the shared risk group package to control which resources like ephemeral terminations are used by the MG to establish the primary link and the secondary link such that if any of the resources associated with the primary link fail then the secondary link remains operational within the MG and if any of the resources associated with the secondary link fail then the primary link remains operational within the MG.

摘要： The welding process includes in a single pass heating and melting a filler wire of gamma-prime strengthened nickel-based superalloy along a major portion of the weld followed by a weld using a solid solution strengthened nickel-based superalloy for the remaining portion of the weld pass. Both filler materials are particularly useful for welding a single crystal gamma-prime strengthened nickel-based superalloy based metals.

摘要： Systems and methods for cleaning asphalt contact surfaces are provided. One such system includes a means for determining a dilution ratio appropriate to a particular asphalt contact surface, a nozzle proximate to the asphalt contact surface, and a pump in fluid communication with the nozzle. The pump is configured to deliver to the nozzle a mixture of water and said cleaning compound with the appropriate dilution ratio. One such method includes the steps of: pumping a cleaning mixture with a dilution ratio appropriate to a particular asphalt contact surface; supplying said pumped cleaning mixture to at least one nozzle proximate to the asphalt contact surface; and spraying the asphalt contact surface through the nozzle with the pumped mixture.

摘要： A store coupon organizing and dispensing apparatus. The apparatus has a coupon holder disposed in an elongated frame with a lower notch adapted to engage a handle of a shopping cart. The lower notch is adapted also to serve as a carrying handle. The coupon holder has a rotary mechanism which includes a drum with rods disposed on it. The rods are adapted to hold the coupon file cards, such that when the drum is rotated the coupons are serially revealed for selection by a user. Alternatively, the coupon file cards may be pivoted about an arcuate hub which is housed in a similar elongated frame. A calculator is preferably mounted on an external top face of the frame to allow a user to tally and compare prices of items. An internal enclosed storage cavity is included in the frame for storing coupons selected for use by the shopper.

摘要： A method and apparatus for providing a talk path in a longitudinal cavity of an enhanced crush, impact, and cut-through resistant communications cable. The talk path is especially suited for a fiber optic communications cable. The cable jacket is formed of a deformable material having a plurality of longitudinal cavities spaced about the cable core. A longitudinal cavity may contain a copper pair or optical fiber to serve as a talk path during servicing of the cable. The talk path may be readily accessed by a service technician without exposing the inner core or the communications cable.
