Abstract: A composition of matter that has surfactant properties in aqueous solutions. The presence of a large number of silanols on the molecules of these compositions creates a solubility or disperseability of these molecules in aqueous solutions that is not obtainable from the quaternary salt monomers. The compositions also have adhesive properties when cured with or without functional organic materials.
