摘要： A first fabric of footwear comprising a closed lower end forming a toe and an open upper end and a second fabric that is open on a side opposite the first fabric is knitted on on front and back needle beds of a flat knitting machine. Double stitches formed between stitches at the upper end of the first fabric and between stitches at the upper end of the second fabric are taken from the needle beds. Remaining stitches at the first fabric upper end are held on one needle bed, and remaining stitches at the second fabric upper end are held on the other needle bed. Fabrics that follow the remaining stitches at the first fabric upper end and the remaining stitches at the second fabric upper end are knitted toward the heel of the footwear.

There is presupposed footwear obtained by forming a knitted fabric knitted with a flat knitting machine into a three-dimensional shape by joining left and right extended ends of a shoe tongue part and both the left and right positions of a sole in a front end portion of a main part. The footwear includes insertion pieces extended outward in a left-right direction from the left and right extended ends of the shoe tongue part, and insertion holes that linearly extend from both the left and right positions of the sole in the front end portion of the main part toward a heel part side, receive the insertion pieces inserted thereinto, and temporarily retain the insertion pieces.

摘要： There is provided a shoe upper excelling in productivity, and a method for knitting the same. A shoe upper (1) includes a left side intermediate knitted fabric portion (5L) connecting a left side edge portion of a tongue (4) and an instep cover section (3), and a right side intermediate knitted fabric portion (5R) connecting a right side edge portion of the tongue (4) and the instep cover section (3). In such shoe upper (1), a width of an end of the tongue (4) is formed wider on a foot insertion opening (7) side than on a toe side, both side edge portions of the tongue (4) are overlapped with the instep cover section (3) in a thickness direction thereof, and the instep cover section (3), the tongue (4), and both the intermediate knitted fabric portions (5L, 5R) are all integrally knitted in a seamless manner.

摘要： There is provided a footwear having a three-dimensional shape that fits a foot of a wearer regardless of a stretchability of a knitted fabric. A seamless footwear (1) including an instep cover section (3) and a sole cover section (2) is provided. The sole cover section (2) is divided to a heel portion (20) and a sole main body portion (21). A setup portion (1S) or a knitting end portion is formed at a heel side end of the footwear (1), and such setup portion (1S) or the knitting end portion is extended in a height direction of the footwear (1) and also connected to the heel portion (20). The heel portion (20) is formed by a knitting of stacking a stitch row for plural tiers in a wale direction, and gradually differing the number of stitches in a knitting width direction of the stitch row when stacking tiers of the stitch row. The heel portion (20) is formed to a tongue shape in which a width gradually becomes narrower toward a heel side of the footwear (1) according to the change in the number of stitches.

摘要： There is provided a shoe upper that is less likely to stretch, and a method for knitting the shoe upper. A shoe upper (1) includes a linear anti-stretch section (4), knitted integrally to an instep cover section (3), for suppressing stretching of the instep cover section (3). The anti-stretch section (4) includes a pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40) configured with a knitting yarn including a heat fusible yarn, and an inserting knitting yarn (41) inserted inside the pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40) and fixed by tuck to stitches configuring the pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40). The pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40) is configured by an inner knitted fabric part (40i) and an outer knitted fabric part (40o) that overlap in a thickness direction of the instep cover section (3), a starting end in a wale direction of the inner knitted fabric part (40i) and a starting end in a wale direction of the outer knitted fabric part (40o) being joined, and a terminating end in the wale direction of the inner knitted fabric part (40i) and a terminating end in the wale direction of the outer knitted fabric part (40o) being joined to form a pipe shape.

In this case, the number of knitting with the reinforcement knitting yarn with respect to the base section (10) is changed.

A heel cover portion (2) and a body portion (3) of a shoe upper (1) are integrally formed in a seamless manner by a knitting pattern. In the top section, a portion having a knitting width of greater than or equal to a predetermined width from an upper end to a lower end, at a position corresponding to a heel of a wearer, is assumed as the heel cover portion (2), and a portion including a remaining portion of the top section, excluding the heel cover portion (2), and the bottom section is assumed as the body portion (3), where an end in a knitting width direction of the heel cover portion (2) and an end in a wale direction of the body portion (3) are connected at positions of edges (L2, L3) on a side surface of the shoe upper (1) of the edges (L1 to L3) to become the boundary lines of the heel cover portion (2) and the body portion (3). As a result, directions of stitches of the heel cover portion (2) and the body portion (3) are oriented in a height direction and a length direction, respectively, of the shoe upper (1), whereby a three-dimensional shoe upper (1) is obtained.
