Abstract:
The method for controlling an overload cell in a CDMA Mobile System comprises the steps of: a first step of receiving information on the overload cell from an overload detection module within a base station controller to retrieve the information on the load of neighboring cells and calculating the information on the total overload of neighboring cells; a second step of determining whether or not the total overload of the neighboring cell in a second hierarchy is greater than the maximum value of the neighboring cells; a third step of informing the overload detection module of the impossibility of control and terminating the procedure when it is determined that the total overload of the neighboring cell in the second hierarchy is not greater than the maximum value of the neighboring cells; a fourth step of retrieving a cell group as a third hierarchy with minimum load when at the second step it is determined that the total overload of the neighboring cell in the second hierarchy is greater than the maximum value of the neighboring cells; and a fifth step of increasing forward power of the cell with minimum load to expand a service region and handoffing a moving subscriber call in the vicinity of the neighboring cell of the overload cell to the expanded cell.
Abstract:
An improved overload control method using a call control process load ratio of a CDMA mobile system which is capable of which is capable of controlling a paging, a signal transmission, and an overload by a signal transmission and receiving by their threshold values by computing an average load ratio of a process and a variable permission ratio at the time of overload using the current CPU occupying ratio and a load ratio of a call control process, which includes the steps of a first step for judging as to whether an overload is loaded by calling an overload judgement procedure when a timer of an overload control process is driven in accordance with a generation of a periodical process of an operating system; a second step for controlling an overload by calling the overload control procedure when it is judged as an overload as a result of the first step; and a third step for releasing the overload state by calling an overload release procedure when the previous state is an overload state by checking the previous state when it is judged that it is not an overload state as a result of the call in the first step.
Abstract:
When a handover apparatus of a user terminal enters a small scale cell within a macrocell area in a state that it is connected to a macrocell, the handover apparatus acquires a delay parameter of the small scale cell and delays handover for a time period of the delay parameter of the small scale cell and determines handover to the small scale cell. Thereby, handover to the small scale cell for a temporal user of the small scale cell can be reduced.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a system and method for coupling communication terminals. In a communication method performed by a terminal coupler according to the present invention, sequence numbers are sequentially assigned to data packets received from a terminal end device. The data packets with the sequence numbers assigned thereto are individually transferred to a plurality of communication terminals belonging to a same group in conformity with preset scheduling policies. Data packets, received from the plurality of communication terminals belonging to the same group, are reordered by sequence numbers, and the reordered data packets are transferred to the terminal end device.
Abstract:
An apparatus for managing a multi-carrier in a communication system supporting the multi-carrier receives channel quality information of multi-carriers from a terminal and directs the terminal to change a primary carrier from a current primary carrier to one carrier of the multi-carriers on the basis of reference information including channel quality information.
Abstract:
A method of performing a handover procedure of a handover performing apparatus in a wireless communication system in which a macro base station and a femto base station coexist is provided. The method of performing the handover procedure of the handover performing apparatus includes detecting an uplink signal transmitted from a terminal to the macro base station, sending a report message including information about the uplink signal to the macro base station, and performing the handover procedure with the terminal when the macro base station triggers handover based on the report message.
Abstract:
A frequency control apparatus and method for railway wireless communication are provided. The frequency control apparatus includes a variable frequency processor and a fixed frequency processor. The variable frequency processor selects an available variable frequency and wirelessly receives non-safety-related train running information from a base station at the selected variable frequency. The fixed frequency processor wirelessly receives safety-related train running information at a predetermined fixed frequency.

Abstract:
In a lawful interception system including an interception unit, an application service providing unit, and an Internet access service providing unit, the application service providing unit may receive, from the interception unit, an interception request including interception target information of an interception target. Next, the application service providing unit may transfer a user code corresponding to the received interception target information to the interception unit, and may insert user related information into a packet to be provided to the interception target corresponding to the user code, enabling the packet to be lawfully intercepted. The interception unit may request the Internet access service providing unit for an interception of the packet with respect to the interception target by including the user code.
Abstract:
A mobile station and a base station communicate with each other using a frame including one or more downlink subframes and one or more uplink subframes. The base station begins the transmission of a data burst in a subframe corresponding to a downlink subframe index. The mobile station transmits feedback for the data burst to the base station in a subframe corresponding to an uplink subframe index. If the frame uses a time division duplex scheme, the uplink subframe index is determined by at least using the downlink subframe index and the parameter value.
