Abstract:
A system and method dynamically update the status of a care plan to be performed at different locations. Worksteps of the care plan may be performed at a number dispersed medical facilities and/or specialists. Data regarding a workstep may be locally entered at the facility that performs the workstep. A virtual representation of the care plan may then be updated, and subsequently remotely accessed via a communications network by other medical facilities to view the current status of the care plan. For instance, before a current workstep is performed, medical personnel may view textual information detailing and images acquired during the performance of a previous workstep performed at a different facility. As a result, an effective and efficient means of transferring information regarding the patient and care plan among medical facilities is provided. Additionally, the performance of each medical facility and individual specialist may be evaluated and the results displayed.
Abstract:
A system and appertaining method are provided for authorizing and transmitting patient medical data by an owner of the data to a third party. Accordingly, a consent request module that is provided with information related to the third party via which the owner enters information related to user authorization data that may be used by the third party. A contract module is utilized to enter contractual information related to terms, conditions and compensation for providing the medical data to the third party. Finally, a search and filter module comprises rules for filtering the medical data and a mechanism for accessing the filtered medical data from the owner medical data store. A communications link permits access to the filtered medical data by the third party.
Abstract:
A broker service facilitates the provision of health-related information to an interested third party. The broker enters into an agreement with one or more health care institutions to obtain at least some access to health-related information stored on a server. In response to a request by the third party, the broker may construct a search filter to find relevant information stored on the server. The broker then may forward at least some of the results to the third party. The broker may install a plug-in software program on the server to facilitate access to the health-related information and/or limit the information based on local health care regulations.
Abstract:
In a method, a system and a central control device for generation of a workflow for a medical treatment of a patient, the treatment is divided into treatment segments that are implemented on a number of instances. After the acquisition of a symptom list, a set of diagnostic questions is generated that are answered by responses. An optimized, case-specific workflow based on the symptom list is thereupon automatically generated.
Abstract:
A method and system are provided for determining and analyzing clinical trend data. Unstructured data at a medical facility is classified utilizing a rule database into structured data, and associated with various parameter identifiers. The structure data is then statistically analyzed and graphical displays and/or reports are produced showing the relationships between data associated with the various parameters. The aggregation of large amounts of data from various sites permits trends to be recognized that would otherwise not be apparent.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for location and presentation of information in at least one electronic patient record that is relevant to a user, in particular relevant to a physician for supporting a decision or diagnosis, wherein depending on data with regard to at least one input of information into and/or a query of information from the electronic patient record by a user, a self-learning, intelligent algorithm of a data processing device automatically adapts the content and/or the presentation of the information provided to a user given a new input and/or a new query.
Abstract:
In a method for display of at least one medical finding, at least one part of a body of a patient is shown on a display medium in a body view. A localization in the body of the patient is associated with each finding, and the localizations are marked at a point in the body view corresponding to the localization. The display medium is interactively operable, and a data set associated with the corresponding finding is displayed on the display medium by interaction with a marked localization.
Abstract:
In a method and apparatus for acquisition and evaluation of image data of an examination subject that are to be created with at least one imaging medical imaging apparatus, generation of a whole-body overview image of the examination subject is generated and selection of an anatomical region in the whole-body overview image is selected. A point in the selected anatomical region is established that forms the origin of a whole-body coordinate system relating to the examination subject, and establishment of an associated, subject-related coordinate system is established/ Upon a later examination with a medical imaging apparatus, a whole-body overview image and/or a partial image containing the origin and/or another marker point is/are generated, and examination (diagnostic) images of the examination subject (S3), are generated. Using new whole-body overview images and/or the partial image, the examination images and spatially arranged in the original whole-body coordinate system dependent on a comparison of at least one item of image information of the examination image with at least one item of image information of the whole-body overview image and/or at least one item of information of the partial image that is related to the whole-body coordinate system.
Abstract:
In a method for acquisition, analysis and representation of at least one medical image data set created in a medical examination, an image data set of an examination region of an examination subject is acquired with a medical imaging apparatus, at least one display specification regarding an orientation to be retained in a graphical representation of the acquired image data set is retrieved from a data processing device in which it is stored, the image data set is checked with regard to the display specification by the data processing device, and of at least one part of the image data set is adapted and displayed corresponding to the display specification, dependent on the check result.
Abstract:
A method for monitoring movement of a moving object and avoiding a collision with it comprises constructing a panoramic image from images of a rotating camera attached to the moving object, constructing a virtual cuboid around the moving object utilizing data from the panoramic image, calculating a difference between a position of the cuboid and a position of an obstacle, and changing a moving direction of the moving object if the difference between the position of the cuboid and the position of an obstacle is smaller than a threshold value to avoid the obstacle.
