Abstract: Examples are directed toward systems and methods relating to security screening. For example, a screening system includes a sensor array to sense a gravitational field caused by an item, and a conveyor to convey the item through sensing positions for scanning by the sensor array. A controller acquires weight measurement information from sensor elements, and gravitational measurement information from the sensor array. The conveyor incrementally advances the item through additional sensing positions to acquire weight measurement information and gravitational measurement information. The controller performs tomographic reconstruction to generate a tomographic image of the item, using a generated weight map as a static weight input vector and using a generated mass map as a static mass input vector for the tomographic reconstruction.

Abstract: The present application is directed to a packaging for a powdered explosive-detection training aid which may include first and second opposing flexible sheets heat sealed together along less than a periphery thereof and defining a storage compartment therebetween, wherein an unsealed portion of the periphery defines an opening to the storage compartment, wherein at least a portion of the first opposing flexible sheet is a semipermeable material permeable to a vapor emitted from the powdered explosive-detection training aid, with the second opposing flexible sheet being impermeable to the powdered explosive-detection training aid vapor; and a sealing member, wherein the sealing member is secured to the first opposing flexible sheet and, in a closing position, covers the semipermeable portion of the first opposing flexible sheet.

Abstract: Disclosed is a mixing chamber apparatus suitable for high-volume sampling (HVS) application. The mixing chamber apparatus includes, among other elements, inlet and outlet manifolds, a mixing chamber, and a tubing manifold for the introduction of clean, turbulent air into the mixing chamber. The inlet manifold defines a plurality of vapor ports that can be in fluid communication with one or more vapor sources to be sampled and mixed within the mixing chamber. Also described herein is a baffled mixing system that can be used alone or in combination with the disclosed mixing chamber apparatus.

The system includes a collaboration platform, configured to host a multi-source transformed health data database, including the transformed first source health data and the transformed second source health data, and hosts AI-enhanced, multiple level telecollaborative analyses by a plurality of participants of the multi-source transformed health data database, generating health management data.

Abstract: In examples, a relative skin reflectance of a captured image of a subject is quantified. Based on the relative skin reflectance, the captured image is determined as suitable or not suitable for biometric identification. When the captured image is determined not suitable, a remedial capture setting is calculated and provided to an image capturing resource. Another captured image of the subject, captured under the remedial capture setting, is received from the image capturing resource. The relative skin reflectance of the another captured image is quantified and based thereon, there is a determining of whether the another captured image is suitable or is not suitable.

Abstract: Systems and methods for measuring skin tone. A camera and computer may measure skin tone health of a face dataset and color quality of a single face image. The computer and camera may measure skin tone across wide sample of volunteers, express skin tone in CIELCH coordinates; and identify the range of observed lightness, chromaticity, and hue values in the population to determine a sample set. The computer and camera may be configured to match the image to a coordinate system of lightness, chromaticity, and hue in the sample set. If a match is not possible, the computer may be configured to select a coordinate closest to the measured lightness, chromaticity, and hue.
