Abstract:
A heat dissipation structure for a display panel efficiently dissipates heat generated during operation of the display panel, and a display module including the heat dissipation structure is also so characterized. The heat dissipation structure is capable of preventing electromagnetic waves generated during the operation of the display panel operation from adversely influencing a driving circuit. The heat dissipation structure comprises: a display panel; a heat dissipating sheet contacting a rear surface of the display panel; and a chassis base disposed on a rear side of the heat dissipating sheet and connected to the display panel via a double-sided adhesive element. The heat dissipating sheet includes two heat dissipating layers and a metal sheet layer interposed between the two heat dissipating layers.
Abstract:
A plasma display panel reduces noise caused by the formation of minute gaps between the first substrate and the second substrate. The plasma display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate opposing one another with a predetermined gap therebetween, and a sealant formed on opposing surfaces of the first substrate and the second substrate. The sealant is formed around outer circumferential areas of the first substrate and the second substrate to seal the first substrate and the second substrate together. The sealant is formed of regions having a first width of substantially the same size and of regions having a second width greater than the size of the first width.
Abstract:
A plasma display module that can reduce noise is provided. The plasma display module includes a plasma display panel (PDP) that displays images, a driving apparatus driving the plasma display panel, a chassis supporting the plasma display panel and the driving apparatus. The chassis is disposed between the plasma display panel and the driving apparatus. A vibration reduction unit is disposed on a portion of a non-display are of the plasma display panel. The vibration reduction unit effectively removes noises generated during the operation of the plasma display panel.
