    摘要: A servo motor with a built-in drive circuit is provided in which, when power is off, positional data including multiple-rotation counting values is stored in a nonvolatile memory to thereby eliminate battery back-up, and in which the CPU of a drive control circuit portion is in charge of the multiple-rotation counting itself to thereby eliminate the circuit for multiple-rotation counting. Due to a reduction in the number of lines involved and an elimination of battery back-up, a reduction in size is achieved. The servo motor with a built-in drive circuit includes an absolute encoder for detecting rotation of a servo motor portion and an electromagnetic mechanical brake, in which, when the power is off, the positional data at that time is stored in a nonvolatile memory.

    摘要: A light source apparatus is disclosed which allows effective cooling of an arc tube even with a small amount of wind. The light source apparatus has a light emitter and a reflector which reflects light from the light emitter and causes the reflected light to emerge. The light source apparatus also has a wind-guiding member which has a flow inlet and a flow outlet of cooling wind and has a wall portion at a position opposite to the flow inlet, the wall portion guiding the cooling wind toward the light emitter in the reflector. The light source apparatus which has a reflector to which an arc tube is fixed via a connecting member, and has a first flow path on which cooling wind from a fan flows to cool an area of the arc tube closer to the connecting member, and a second flow path on which cooling wind from the fan flows to cool an area of the arc tube closer to a light emitting portion. The second flow path is formed separately from the first flow path.

The apparatus enables quick detection of a state in which the exhaust air outlet is blocked to perform the protection operation.

    摘要: The image projection apparatus includes a heat generating member disposed inside the apparatus, an exhaust fan exhausting an air that has cooled the heat generating member to the outside of the apparatus, and a duct guiding the air from the heat generating member to the exhaust fan. An outflow opening of the duct is oriented in a direction different from an inflow direction of the air into an inflow opening thereof. At least one air guiding wall is provided inside the duct, which forms plural airflow paths within a cross section extending along the inflow direction and an outflow direction of the air. The apparatus is capable of reducing unevenness in flow rate of the air when guiding the air toward the exhaust fan using a bent-type duct.
