    摘要: A modeling application is provided with at least one spatial modificator for modifying simultaneously one or more object instances. The at least one spatial modificator may include definitions that define modifications to a model, and an action definition may define a predetermined degree of change by the modifications to a parameter of the object instances. Intersections between object instances and influence areas of spatial modificators are identified. Object instances that intersect with the influence areas may be changed according to the spatial modificator and in accordance with the predetermined degree of change.

    摘要: Solutions how to automatically create analysis models for structural analysis from physical models are disclosed. For the purpose a concept of planes for creating analysis elements is introduced. For example, the planes may be created automatically to initial elements, which in turn may be created based on physical parts in a physical model, or at least based on load-bearing physical parts in the physical model. The planes are used to manipulate dimensions and/or positions of the initial elements so that the analysis elements created based on the initial elements will connect if corresponding physical parts are connected in the physical model.

    摘要: To facilitate use of a vast help content, while a modeling application is running, user interface actions to the modeling application are monitored, at least for an automatic help. When it is detected that consecutive user interface actions fulfill at least one of a plurality of predefined criteria for automatic help, help content is retrieved from online helping information. The online helping information comprises at least helping information of the modeling application and helping information created by a user community. In the retrieving of the help content at least a portion of the consecutive user interface actions are used.
