Abstract:
A gaming machine artwork assembly includes a carrier on which images to be illuminated are carried. An electroluminescent illuminating arrangement is mounted on an operatively rear surface of the carrier. The electroluminescent illuminating arrangement comprises a plurality of electroluminescent elements, at least one element being associated with each image to be illuminated. A driver circuit is connected to the illuminating arrangement for driving the electroluminescent illuminating arrangement to illuminate selected electroluminescent elements of the arrangement on command from a controller of the gaming machine. The driver circuit includes individual drivers for each electroluminescent element for independently driving the electroluminescent elements and variably controlling the intensity of the illumination of the images with which said electroluminescent elements are associated.
Abstract:
An automated method for facilitating management of a data processing environment is disclosed. In various embodiments, the method may include facilitating creation of a first memorialization, in digital form, of first one or more changes made to a first data processing device of the data processing environment. In various embodiments, the method may further include facilitating creation of a second and a third memorialization, both in digital form, of second and third one or more changes made to a second and a third data processing device of the data processing environment, respectively. In various embodiments, the method may still further include facilitating automated approval of the second and third changes made to the second and third data processing devices, using the first, second and third memorializations. Other embodiments of the present invention may include, but are not limited to, apparatus adapted to facilitate practice of the above-described method.
Abstract:
A swing support mobilization lift includes a jack and a pivotably positionable swing arms, pivotally coupled to the jack, such that the attachment mechanism is capable of being initially displaced in the plane of the jack mechanism during insertion of the lifting device in a narrowly accessible space adjacent to shelving. Then, the swing arms are capable of being pivoted to extend outwardly from the plane of the surface of a jack facing the shelving, such that the shelving may be attached to the swing arms, such as by pins tethered to the jack. In one example, a pair of swing arms disposed on opposite sides of a portion of the shelving sandwich the portion of the shelving and support opposite ends of the pins coupling the swing arms to the shelving.
Abstract:
A scissor mechanism comprises a pair of opposed jaws. The opposed jaws are defined at one end of a rigid member. At least one rigid member is pivotably engaged to a base plate. The base plate is capable of being coupled to a mobilization structure that is capable of being rolled on the ground. For example, the mobilization structure may comprise a jack or a bolt that is capable of raising and lowering the base plate. The jaws provide a strong grip on a portion of the shelving either under the influence of a strong biasing mechanism or by using a lever action to force one or more of the jaws closed onto the portion of the shelving. A bump stop may be adjusted to impinge on another portion of the shelving, which may prevent the shelving from tipping or sliding within the pair of jaws.

Abstract:
A method for trimming an undesirable portion of a metatarsal pad of a chicken paw using a power operated rotary knife. The steps of the method include: a) providing a power operated rotary knife including an annular knife blade rotatable about a central axis and defining a central open area; moving one of the rotary knife and the chicken paw with respect to the other to position the rotary knife with respect to a bottom of the chicken paw such that the undesirable portion of the metatarsal pad is within the central open area of the blade and the cutting edge of the blade is proximate to a periphery of the undesirable portion; and moving one of the rotary knife and the chicken paw such that the cutting edge of the blade slices a layer of the metatarsal pad thereby removing at least part of the undesirable portion.
Abstract:
A method for restoring a content management system is disclosed. A virtual file system exposing backup data of a content management system stored in a backup data storage is created. The backup data is exposed without retrieving the backup data from the backup data storage. A selection of a portion of the backup data to be restored to the content management system is received via an interface associated with the virtual file system. The selected portion of the backup data is caused to be granularly restored to the content management system without restoring one or more unselected portions of the backup data.
