摘要: Techniques are disclosed for methods and systems for automating the operation of a rolling-jack system for the servicing of automotive vehicles. The rolling-jack(s) travel/transport between the runways of a drive-on lift. They have automated/motorized transportation, engagement and jacking power mechanisms. These mechanisms are controlled by a guidance system which guides/controls them for a fully automated operation. A number of technologies may be used for this purpose, including sensors onboard the vehicles and/or the drive-on lifts and/or the rolling-jacks and/or the service center. A computer vision pipeline may also be utilized to assist in the process. Machine learning may also be employed. Techniques are also extended to autonomous vehicles as well as interfacing with fleet management software.

摘要: Embodiments of vehicle lifts and swivel mounts are disclosed. A lifting system for a vehicle comprises a vehicle lift and a mount configured to attach to the vehicle lift. The mount has a saddle comprising a horizontal plate and first and second side plates extending from opposing sides of the horizontal plate; a pair of raceways disposed atop the horizontal plate defining a channel; a plurality of ball bearings disposed within the channel; a tray rotatably secured to the horizontal plate, the tray being freely rotatable atop the ball bearings; and at least one tie down secured to the saddle. A vehicle is positioned atop the mount and is rotatable via the tray. Rotation of the vehicle is temporarily impeded by strapping the vehicle to the tie down.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for methods and systems for automating the operation of vehicle lifts in the servicing of automotive vehicles. The lifts may be motorized mobile column lifts and/or fixed lifts, including two-post lifts with swing-arms and a variety of drive-on lifts. Motorized mobile lifts have a motorized transport mechanism. A guidance system first assigns available motorized mobile lifts to the axled wheels of a vehicle and then directs their transport mechanism for transporting them to their engagement locations. It also guides the engagement of both the motorized mobile lifts and the fixed lifts in the service center. A number of technologies may be used for this purpose, including sensors onboard the vehicles and/or the lifts and/or the service center. A computer vision pipeline may also be utilized to assist in the process. Machine learning may also be employed. Techniques are also extended to autonomous vehicles as well as interfacing with fleet management software.

摘要: A cart is disclosed having a rigid base with a plurality of cutouts, bottom and top sides, and at least one peripheral edge. The bottom side has at least one removable, lockable caster at each bottom side corner. The cart has a rigid cradle with bottom, back, and top sides, and at least one peripheral edge. The opposing sides of the top side have horizontal rollers mounted on flanges. The cradle has a handle, tool hooks, a lug nut tray, and a wheel retainer. An actuating lift coupled between and centered on the base top and cradle bottom is movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The base has an elevated portion and is switchable between raised and lowered configurations, setting the cradle's maximum height, by removing the casters and decoupling the lift from the base; flipping over the base; reattaching the casters; and recoupling the lift.

摘要: A device for lifting a small vehicle having a frame and a hood includes a lifting mechanism configured to move a platform from a lowered position to a raised position; and a saddle attached to the platform. The saddle has a top plate having a front side and a back side, opposed first and second side plates extending vertically in a first direction, and a lip extending vertically in a second direction. A supporting member extends outwardly from the top plate. An elbow has a first portion releasably coupled to the supporting member, and a second portion extending upwardly from the first portion. A hook disposed on a threaded handle attaches to the second portion of the elbow and is configured to move between a lowered position and raised position. The lip engages with the frame of the vehicle, and the hook fastens to a portion of the hood.

摘要: A device for lifting the legs of a display case in a store or office which is supported on legs. The device features a a “U” shaped frame, having a horizontal portion and two substantially vertical side portions extending from the horizontal portion. A face plate is engageable with a leg lifting component. A jack situated on top of the horizontal portion provides the lift for the leg lifting component. The leg lifting components may be adapted to any type of leg and engaged with the device allowing one lifting apparatus to engage any type of leg on any display case it is adapted to engage. The jack can be user supplied or included with the device as a unit. An optional skate for the lifted leg can also be provided.
