摘要: Techniques are disclosed for identifying sets of network devices to which to deploy a software upgrade based on an importance to the network of each network device. For example, a network system obtains information identifying a number of instances of an application associated with network traffic forwarded by each network device of a plurality of network devices. The instances of the application are executed by client devices serviced by each network device in forwarding the network traffic. The network system assigns each network device to different upgrade groups based on the number of instances of the application, each upgrade group associated with a different relative priority. The network system deploys a software upgrade to each network device according to a priority of the respective upgrade group relative to a priority of the other upgrade groups.

The second network interface circuit is utilized to communicate over a second network associated with an IoT device utilizing a second communications protocol that is different from the first communications protocol. The first network interface circuit generates a virtual device representation of the IoT device on the first network. The virtual device representation is utilized to communicate data from the IoT device over the first network utilizing the first communications protocol.

The method also includes dynamically deploying (403a) the functions of the program to all or a portion of the set for execution of the program by the set based on the execution pattern of the program and the sleep requirement of the at least one distributed node.

摘要: A method involves receiving, at a Global Resource Catalog (GRC) controller, credentials for one or more target networks within a distributed cloud network. For each target network, the GRC controller uses a respective network access methodology associated with that target network to identify and store a first set of target network resources associated with that network at a GRC database. The GRC controller links or groups a second set of target network resources of the first set of target network resources in the GRC database based on target network resource dependencies determined by the GRC controller. The GRC controller updates the second set of target network resources in the GRC database based on a received event or at a scheduled interval. A distributed cloud network is then updated based on the second set of target network resources stored at the GRC database.

摘要: The invention discloses a method and a system for achieving timely updating of client configuration. The method includes steps: after the client initiates any request to the server, receiving a response message fed back by the server; and obtaining a response header data containing client configuration information from the response message. The response header data includes configuration header data and version header data. Based on the configuration header data, it is determined whether there is an update in the client configuration stored at the server. If there is an update, the configuration at the client is updated based on the version header data. The invention can achieve timely updating of important configurations of the client based on frequent HTTP requests between the client and the server.
