摘要： A radiation image capturing system detects the position of a radiation detecting cassette disposed below a patient and the position of a radiation source for emitting a radiation, based on the differences between the propagation times of radio waves emitted from an antenna device to an image capturing apparatus and the radiation detecting cassette. Based on the detected positions, the relative positions of the image capturing apparatus and the radiation detecting cassette are calculated, and then compared with each other by a position determining unit to judge how the image capturing apparatus is positioned with respect to the radiation detecting cassette. If the image capturing apparatus is not positioned in head-on facing relation to the radiation detecting cassette, then a warning is issued, and an actuating mechanism moves the image capturing apparatus to an appropriate position.

摘要： The power consumption of a battery for supplying electric power to a cassette having a radiation detector for detecting radiation image information is greatly reduced. When a cassette transceiver of the cassette starts transmitting the radiation image information to a console transceiver of a console, the cassette transceiver changes the gain of a variable-gain amplifier to change a transmission radio-wave intensity, and transmits a test signal at the changed transmission radio-wave intensity. When the console transceiver receives the test signal, the console transceiver transmits a reception acknowledgement signal generated by a reception acknowledgement signal generator. In response to the reception acknowledgement signal, the cassette transceiver sets its own transmission radio-wave intensity to a value at the time the cassette transceiver received the reception acknowledgement signal, and transmits the radiation image information at the set transmission radio-wave intensity.

While the cassette (mobile X-ray image capturing apparatus) is moving, the radiation image information stored in the cassette is transmitted to a server via a transmitting and receiving terminal, a mobile hospital communication network, and a hospital LAN.

The transmission and reception controller and the antenna are capable of being electrically connected to each other through detachable connectors.

摘要： A sheet discharging apparatus is constructed of a sorting device and a reversible conveying device. Normal sheets are fed by the sorting device and conveyed in an arrangement in zigzag in two rows and conveyed on a primary path. Near an exit of the primary path, there is a high speed discharging roller pair having a drive roller and a nip roller. Between the drive roller and a drive shaft, there is a frictional connection unit. While the sheet is conveyed by conveying roller pairs, a front edge of the sheet reaches the high speed discharging roller pair, and the drive roller freely rotates due to the effect of the frictional connection unit. When a rear edge of the sheet passes the conveying roller pair, the frictional connection unit is set into a connecting situation, and the sheet is discharged by the drive roller and the nip roller.

In the present invention, a console checks a cassette ID (specified cassette ID) sent from an RIS server as the cassette ID of a radiation detecting cassette that is planned to be used to capture a radiation image, and a cassette ID (actual cassette ID) that is read by the console from a radiation detecting cassette which is placed in an operating room or an image capturing room and which is to be actually used to capture a radiation image, with each other. Based on the result of the cassette ID check, the console determines whether to permit a radiation image to be captured or not.

摘要： A photoacoustic breast-image capturing apparatus has an image capturing stage on which a breast C1 is placed and a detector provided to the image capturing stage. The detector is constituted of a plurality of capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducers (cMUT) and light exit surfaces of optical fibers arranged in matrix in X and Y directions with predetermined pitch. The optical fibers are inclined to a side of a patient H by a predetermined angle, and the light exit surfaces of the optical fibers are faced to the patient H. The light beams emitted from the optical fibers on the side of the patient H reach not only the breast C1 but also to the depth of a chest wall C2. A photoacoustic image which is generated from acoustic waves includes information of not only the breast C1 but also the chest wall C2.
