摘要: A card edge connector includes an elongated housing extending along a lengthwise direction thereof and having a pair of opposed side walls, and a central slot between the side walls. A plurality of contacts are retained in the housing and exposed to the central slot. A pair of ejector mechanisms are rotatable retained on two opposite ends of the housing. A pair of auxiliary insulators are attached to the ejector mechanisms, respectively. A tie wrap is located on the auxiliary insulators to urge the auxiliary insulators to prevent the ejector mechanisms from rotating.

摘要: A card edge connector for mating with an electronic card includes an elongated housing, a number of contacts and a retainer disposed in the housing. The housing has a center slot extending along a lengthwise direction of the housing and a first tower section at one end thereof. The retainer is rotatably retained in the first tower section and does not extend beyond the first tower along the lengthwise direction, a thickness direction of the housing and a direction opposite to an insertion direction of the electronic card. The retainer has a locker to lock the electronic card and at least a spring sandwiched between the locker and an outer wall of the first tower section to make the locker automatically move in the lengthwise direction in an insertion process of the electronic card.

摘要: A card edge connector for mating with an electronic card includes an elongated housing, a number of contacts and a retainer retained to the housing. The housing has a pair of side walls, a central slot between the side walls and a fitting section upwardly extending at one end thereof. The fitting section defines a first U-shaped cavity downwardly extending from a top end thereof and a mounting slot upwardly extending from a lower end thereof and located at outside of the first cavity. The first cavity communicates with the central slot along a length direction of the housing to receive the electronic card. The retainer is retained in the mounting slot and has a locking projection protruding into the first cavity to lock with the electronic card. The mounting slot does not extend through the fitting section to make the retainer hidden in the fitting section.
