    摘要: A light guide plate, backlight module installed with the same and method of guiding light utilizing the same are provided. The light guide plate has a bottom surface, a light outlet surface opposite to the bottom surface, and a light inlet surface at least connected with the light outlet surface. A light is introduced to the light inlet surface and transmitted in the light guide plate. The light guide plate comprises a light transmissive substrate installed with at least one through hole, and a first slot installed on the light transmissive substrate and arranged at the periphery of the through hole.

    摘要: A backlight module comprises a light emitting element and a light guide panel having a light output surface in which the light output surface is with a first side, a second side, a through hole, a recess and plural microstructure rows. The microstructure rows are arranged on the light output surface, and the extending direction thereof is parallel to the extending direction of the first side. The through hole is installed between any two adjacent microstructure rows. The light emitting element is disposed in the recess in a central zone of the light output surface, and arranged to emit lights towards the second side. One major light emitting axis of the light emitting element deviates from the through hole.

    摘要: A structure for eliminating bright lines of a tiled backlight module is provided. The structure includes a light guide plate, and a plurality of light sources. The light guide plate includes a plurality of rows of optical elements. The rows of optical elements extend in parallel. The light sources are provided at least one side of the light guide plate for projecting a light into the light guide plate and generating a regular but non-uniform light outputting performance of the light guide plate. Therefore, a brightness of areas where the optical elements are located is higher than the rest areas, so that the light guide plate achieves a regular but non-uniform light emitting performance. Accordingly, the bright lines occurred at joints between two light guide plates are enshrouded by the high brightness areas, and become hard to identify or even undistinguishable, thus “eliminated”.

    摘要: A double-sided light-emitting light guide plate assembly, and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed, wherein a reflector is arranged between a first light guide plate and a second light guide plate. When light is emitted from a light source, it enters into the first light guide plate and the second light guide plate from one lateral side of the double-sided light-emitting light guide plate assembly. Through the reflector having two opposite reflective surface, the light is output from the first light output surface of the first light guide plate, and the second light output surface of the second light guide plate, such that the light guide plate assembly of the present invention can emit light from its two opposite surfaces.
