摘要： A method for a connection mode terminal to hand over between a home cell and a public cell in a mobile communication system is provided. In the mobile communication system including the home cell and the public cell, a region of the terminal is determined and a random access channel for the handover is pre-allocated. When the normal handover from the home cell to the public cell fails, the access to the public cell is accomplished using the pre-allocated random access channel. Therefore, the handover failure rate can be lowered.

摘要： A wireless communication method according to the present invention, in a Bluetooth device connected to multiple piconets and operating in a scatter mode, includes steps of (a) establishing credit values by link for the multiple piconets, and the total sum of the credit values by link as a temporary account value; (b) updating the credit values by link and the temporary account value every slot based on a predetermined manner; (c) performing communications through a link selected based on a comparison result of the credit values by link at each Presence Point(PP); and (d) unevenly redistributing predetermined credit values based on characteristics by link and returning to the step (b) in one of the two cases in which the communications are interrupted with a POLL_NULL sequence and the temporary account value becomes the same as the total number, n, of links.

摘要： An apparatus and method for generating and parsing a MAC PDU in a mobile communication system are provided in which LCIDs of MAC SDUs to be multiplexed are checked, the length of an LF is determined for each of the MAC SDUs, referring to LF lengths predetermined for the LCIDs, a MAC header including the LCIDs and LFs of the determined lengths for the MAC SDUs is generated, and a MAC PDU is generated by attaching the MAC header to payload including the MAC SDUs. During the MAC header generation, if a padding size required for the MAC PDU generation calculated taking into account the absence of a last LF in the MAC header is larger than the length of the last LF, the last LF is included in the MAC header, the required padding size is recalculated, taking into account the inclusion of the last LF, and a padding is added according to the re-calculated padding size.

The UE measures the signal from the femto BS based on the paging message, generates a measurement report message including a measurement result, and sends the generated measurement report message to the macro BS.

摘要： A wireless communication system has a queue information search unit for searching a queue-status information provided in a packet unit, a communication priority decision unit for deciding communication priority of external devices based on the queue-status information, giving a higher priority to the external device having a greater number of packets in queues, a communication initiation unit for initiating a communication with the external devices according to the communication priority, a counter for counting the number of times that the communication is initiated for each of the external devices, and a comparator for comparing a counter value of a first external device that corresponds to a transmitted data with a counter value of a second external device that has a maximum counter value. Accordingly, when the wireless communication device transmits and receives data with respect to the plural wireless communication devices, both high throughput and high fairness can be guaranteed.

摘要： A low-power transmitting apparatus and transmission method in a wireless personal area network (WPAN). A length of a fragment, a data rate, and a transmission power is selected to transmit a frame with minimum energy consumption in a contention period and a contention-free period. Thus, a quality of service (QoS) requirement for the transmission can be satisfied and the data frame can be transmitted with less energy consumption. Even when the channel status changes, a new transmission criterion suitable for the changed channel status is selected to minimize the consumption of the unnecessary energy. Furthermore, the life span of the network according to the energy consumption under a restricted environment can be lengthened.
