Abstract: A warming blanket for warming a patient includes a first sheet including a first major surface of the warming blanket, and a second sheet including a second major surface of the warming blanket. The second sheet is sealingly joined to the first sheet to form one or more inflatable portions between the first and second sheets. An adhesive layer is disposed on the first major surface of the first sheet. A liner assembly is disposed on the adhesive layer opposite to the first major surface and fully covers the adhesive layer. The liner assembly includes a plurality of release liners delimited from each other and releasably bonded to the adhesive layer, such that each release liner is independently removable from the liner assembly to expose a corresponding portion of the adhesive layer. Each of the first sheet, the adhesive layer, and the plurality of release liners is air-permeable.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming device that includes a clinical garment and a first pneumatic convective device. The clinical garment includes an inner surface for facing the patient and having an inner surface area. The clinical garment has a hemline and forms a longitudinal axis. The first pneumatic convective device can have an air-permeable layer having a pneumatic surface area, the pneumatic surface area is at least 25% of the inner surface area in a deployed state. The warming device can include a first inlet for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The second end of the first pneumatic convective device extends past the hemline when in the deployed state, and, when the first pneumatic convective device is in a folded state, the second end extends no greater than 3 inches past the hemline.

The system also includes a controller that includes one or more processor circuits configured to receive a first sensor reading from the sensor corresponding to a first zone, wherein the first sensor reading corresponds to a first heat transfer rate. The one or more processor circuits are configured to determine whether the sensor reading is sufficient and increase a first heat transfer rate to a second heat transfer rate in the first zone in response to the sensor reading being insufficient.
