    Abstract: The present disclosure describes a display system including a liquid crystal display panel and a light source emitting light capable of emitting light. A nonwoven diffuser element is disposed between the light source and the liquid crystal display panel. The polymeric nonwoven diffuser is non-orientated and has a fiber diameter of less than 50 micrometers, a fiber aspect ratio of length/diameter of greater than 5 and a basis weight in a range from 10 to 80 grams/meter2.

    Abstract: A multilayer optical film including a first layer having an index of refraction n1 at a wavelength λ in a range from about 580 nm to about 650 nm, and a second layer having an index of refraction n2 at λ is described. The first and second layers define an interface therebetween comprising a two-dimensional grating. The grating may have an average height H such that |n1−n2|*H is in a range from 0.24 micrometers to 0.3 micrometers. Optical systems including the multilayer optical film are described. A subpixel in a display surface of the optical system may be diffracted into a zero diffraction order and a plurality of first diffraction orders where the intensities of the zero and first diffraction orders are with 10% of each other at λ. The optical system may have a modulation transfer function greater than 0.4 at 10 line pairs per millimeter.

    Abstract: Headsets and head-mounted displays including first and second diffractive elements are described. In some cases, the first and second diffractive elements include first and second grating surfaces, and for at least one wavelength, the first and second grating surfaces have at least one different corresponding diffractive property. The head-mounted display may include two-dimensionally pixelated adjacent first and second display surfaces for displaying images, and first and second diffractive elements disposed adjacent the respective first and second display surfaces. In some cases, the first diffractive element is configured to diffract a first wavelength λ1, but not a different second wavelength into zero and first diffraction orders having intensities within 5% of each other, and the second diffractive element is configured to diffract the second wavelength but not the first wavelength 1, into zero and first diffraction orders having intensities within 5% of each other.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming device that includes a clinical garment and a first pneumatic convective device. The clinical garment includes an inner surface for facing the patient and having an inner surface area. The clinical garment has a hemline and forms a longitudinal axis. The first pneumatic convective device can have an air-permeable layer having a pneumatic surface area, the pneumatic surface area is at least 25% of the inner surface area in a deployed state. The warming device can include a first inlet for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The second end of the first pneumatic convective device extends past the hemline when in the deployed state, and, when the first pneumatic convective device is in a folded state, the second end extends no greater than 3 inches past the hemline.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming system including a warming device. The warming device includes a clinical garment comprising a body portion adapted to cover a portion of a patient, an inner surface for facing the patient, and an outer surface for facing away from the patient. The body portion includes sleeves sized and positioned for receiving the patient's arms and a torso portion adapted to cover an anterior torso of a patient. A first pneumatic convective device can be disposed adjacent to the inner surface of the clinical garment. The pneumatic convective device can include an opening formed in the clinical garment for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The warming system can also have a second pneumatic convective device in a fully-folded configuration or partially-folded configuration and disposed on a portion of the clinical garment.
