Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for use in a wireless network for time-domain resource allocation for configured grant transmissions in New Radio (NR) systems. For example, some embodiments are directed to an electronic device including radio front end circuitry and processor circuitry coupled to the radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry can be configured to generate a radio resource control (RRC) signal including a bitmap for configuring time-domain resources for configured grant (CG) operation. The processor circuitry can be further configured to transmit, using the radio front end circuitry, the RRC signal to a user equipment (UE) to configure the time-domain resources. The bitmap comprises a plurality of resource units and wherein each resource unit in the plurality of resource units corresponds to a symbol, a slot, a subframe, or a radio frame.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses disclosed herein can operate on an unlicensed spectrum. These systems, methods, and apparatuses can perform a first listen-before-talk (LBT) operation of a LBT protocol in a first slot from among multiple slots to determine whether the unlicensed spectrum is unoccupied. Thereafter, these systems, methods, and apparatuses can transmit an uplink (UL) transmission in other slots from among the plurality of slots in response to the unlicensed spectrum being unoccupied. Otherwise, these systems, methods, and apparatuses can perform a second LBT operation in a second slot from among the plurality of slots in response to the unlicensed spectrum being occupied.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications above a 52.6 GHz carrier frequency, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling to obtain a cyclic shift value in time domain. The cyclic shift value is associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) antenna port (AP) of a plurality of available DM-RS APs. A single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence corresponding to the DM-RS AP is generated using a base sequence and the cyclic shift value. The single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence is encoded with uplink data for transmission to a base station using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using a carrier above the 52.6 GHz carrier frequency.

Abstract: A network device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a new radio NB (gNB), or other network component) can process or generate a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) based on a configured grant that enables different configurations with multiple starting symbol occasions for the configured grants in new radio (NR) unlicensed communications. The PUSCH can be type A or as type B based on the configured grant. A number M of demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) and a number N of starting symbol occasions in a slot can be configured according to the configured grant, wherein M and N comprise an integer greater than zero, respectively.
