摘要: Systems, devices, and techniques for wideband operations in unlicensed spectrum are described. A described technique receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a schedule for transmitting on a Physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) over at least a portion of a plurality of listen-before-talk (LBT) subbands of a bandwidth part (BWP) in an unlicensed spectrum. The scheduled PUSCH bandwidth indicated by the schedule can be greater than a unit bandwidth of a LBT subband. The technique includes performing, by the UE, a LBT procedure on each scheduled LBT subband of the plurality of LBT subbands, each of the scheduled LBT subbands being associated with the scheduled PUSCH bandwidth. The technique includes performing, by the UE, a PUSCH transmission in accordance with the schedule that uses one or more of the scheduled LBT subbands that have passed the LBT procedure.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for increasing paging opportunities when the unlicensed band is used. A user equipment (UE) may determine a plurality of different paging occasions (POs) to monitor per DRX cycle. The plurality of different POs corresponds to beam sweep repeats for a first set of UEs in an unlicensed band from a base station in a wireless network. The UE monitors the plurality of different POs to receive the paging message from the base station. The plurality of different POs may include respective physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions. The plurality of different POs may include at least two consecutive POs associate with the first set of UEs within a same paging frame. Alternatively, the plurality of different POs may include at least two non-consecutive POs associated with the first set of UEs separated by at least cycle one other PO associated with a second set of UEs.

摘要: Devices and methods of providing channel occupancy time (COT) are described. After a gNB acquires an unlicensed channel for a COT, the gNB indicates the COT length to a UE using a PDCCH having a DCI formed in accordance with DCI format 2_0. The slot format of the last slot of the COT is indicated using a reserved slot format indicator that is reserved to indicate the end of the COT. The reserved slot format indicator indicates a last slot format of available slot formats of DCI format 2_0. Dummy bits fill the DCI after the reserved slot format indicator. Alternatively, to indicate the COT length, a COT field dedicated to providing the COT is used in the DCI or the CRC is masked using a slot format indication Radio Network Temporary Identifier.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications above a 52.6 GHz carrier frequency, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling to obtain a cyclic shift value in time domain. The cyclic shift value is associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) antenna port (AP) of a plurality of available DM-RS APs. A single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence corresponding to the DM-RS AP is generated using a base sequence and the cyclic shift value. The single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence is encoded with uplink data for transmission to a base station using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using a carrier above the 52.6 GHz carrier frequency.

摘要: Technology for a user equipment (UE) operable to encode a New Radio (NR) short duration physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) for transmission to a Next Generation NodeB (gNB) is disclosed. The UE can identify uplink control information (UCI) for the UE. The UE can multiplex, using frequency division multiplexing (FDM) at the UE, the UCI and a pseudo-random sequence associated with a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) onto a plurality of subcarriers in one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs) of one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols. The UE can encode the UCI and the pseudo-random sequence associated with the DMRS multiplexed onto the plurality of subcarriers of the one or more OFDM symbols for transmission on the NR short duration PUCCH to the gNB.
