Abstract: A reinforcement structure is disposed on a midsole of a shoe. A first bar extends from a first point in a medial side of the midsole to a second point in the medial side of the midsole. The second point is closer to a toe of the shoe than the first point. A second bar extends from a third point in the medial side of the midsole to a fourth point in a lateral side of the midsole. The fourth point being closer to the toe of the shoe than the third point. A third bar extending from a fifth point in the medial side of the midsole to a sixth point in the lateral side of the midsole. The sixth point being closer to the toe of the shoe than the fifth point. The third bar extending further toward the toe of the shoe than the second bar.

Abstract: A shoe sole which has a landing surface composed of three regions of a middle-sole region, a fore-sole region and a rear-sole region, and has a plurality of groove portions in the landing surface. The groove portions include: a first groove portion located in the fore-sole region, on a first imaginary line extending along the MP joint; a second groove portion located in the fore-sole region, on a second imaginary line extending along a line which connects a medial outer edge of the fore-sole region and a lateral outer edge of the middle-sole region with each other, in an area which is closer to a toe than to the first groove portion; and a third groove portion located in the rear-sole region, on a third imaginary line extending along a line which connects a medial outer edge of the rear-sole region and a lateral outer edge of the middle-sole region with each other.

Abstract: In a running style analysis device, a step frequency acquirer acquires, with regard to running of a subject, a slope of a step frequency change with respect to a change in running speed. A step length acquirer acquires, with regard to running of the subject, a slope of a step length change with respect to a change in running speed. A judgment unit calculates a principal component score from the slope of a step frequency change and the slope of a step length change of the subject, based on a principal component analysis model generated in advance based on measurement values of multiple runners and makes, based on the principal component score thus calculated, judgment as to which of multiple running style types, including a long stride type and a high cadence type, running of the subject falls under.

Abstract: A shoe sole includes a body portion and a heel holding portion. The heel holding portion is located opposite to a ground contact surface of the body portion and holds a heel portion of a foot at least from a medial foot side. The body portion includes a low hardness portion and a high hardness portion. The high hardness portion is a foam material harder than a foam material of the low hardness portion. The heel holding portion is a resin harder than the foam material of the low hardness portion and the foam material of the high hardness portion. On the medial foot side in a rear foot portion, the low hardness portion is located between the heel holding portion and the high hardness portion in an up-down direction.
