Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a personalized cloud service requirement based on a user identity and proximity to a first location. A first edge network is configured based on the personalized cloud service requirement and the first location, and the user is provided with access to a personalized cloud service via the configured first edge network according to their proximity to the first location. A second, different location is determined, and a second edge network is configured based on the personalized cloud service requirement and according to the second location. The user is provided with access to the personalized cloud service via the configured second edge network according to their proximity to the second location. In this manner, the edge network may be reconfigured to effectively follow the user, thereby extending remote access to a consistent, personalized cloud service. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to mental health anomaly detection and guidance. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a mental health user system can create a baseline user behavior profile for a user. The mental health user system can monitor a behavior of the user. The mental health user system can determine whether the behavior of the user is anomalous in comparison to the baseline user behavior profile. The mental health user system can, in response to determining that the behavior of the user is anomalous, provide a treatment to the user to return the behavior to be consistent with the baseline user behavior profile.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining sensor data that includes an image of a projection environment, determining physical objects portrayed within the image, and characterizing physical properties of the physical objects according to the sensor data to obtain a characterization. A first target object of the physical objects having a first projection surface is identified according to the characterization, and a source image is modified according to the first projection surface. The modified image is provided to a projector adapted to project the modified image onto the first projection surface. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device having a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations of: receiving a request from a first user of an electronic event to invoke a surrogate to control an avatar of the first user; retrieving data describing characteristics of the surrogate; and altering a presentation of the avatar for the first user made to a second user, wherein the data describing characteristics of the surrogate is used to alter the presentation of the avatar. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Techniques are described that facilitate detecting and minimizing social and virtual threats using a communication network. In one example embodiment, method comprises identifying, by a system comprising a processor, incident locations associated with incident risks with based on user activities associated with the incident locations satisfying an incident risk criterion. The method further comprises determining, by the system, targeted surveillance protocols for the incident locations based on the identifying, comprising determining the targeted surveillance protocols based on respective types of the incident risks associated with the incident locations and respectively severities of the incident risks, wherein the targeted surveillance protocols specify usage of respective surveillance services performed by respective devices connected via a communication network. The method further comprises controlling, by the system, respective performances of the targeted surveillance protocols utilizing the respective surveillance services performed by the respective devices.

Abstract: A processing system may obtain first biometric data of a user from at least one biometric device for a physical activity via at least a first exercise apparatus for a plurality of performance levels, where the obtaining includes associating biometric output levels from the first biometric data with corresponding performance levels of the plurality of performance levels as baseline biometric output levels. The processing system may next detect a performance of the physical activity by the user via the at least the first exercise apparatus, obtain a first performance level and second biometric data associated with the performance of the physical activity, the second biometric data indicating a first biometric output level, detect that the first biometric output level is elevated at the first performance level, and generate an instruction for the user to engage in a reduced performance level for the physical activity or a second physical activity.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining an image of an object over a communication network from a first communication device associated with a user, obtaining first information associated with the object, and receiving user-generated input over the communication network from the first communication device. The user-generated input indicates to generate a group of complementary objects associated with the object. Further embodiments can include, in response to receiving the user-generated input, providing instructions to generate the group of complementary objects over the communication network to a second communication device associated with the user based on the image of the object and the first information. The second communication device generates the group of complementary objects. Other embodiments are disclosed.
