Abstract: A call challenger can receive a user input from a called party identity to opt-in to a call challenge service, and a second user input of a keyword. When the call challenger receives a call directed to a user equipment of the called party identity, the call challenger can prompt the calling party to provide an audible response. In response to a receipt of the audible response, the call challenger can convert the audible response to a text. The call challenger can compare the text with the keyword to determine if there is a sufficient match. In response to the determining the output of the comparing does not satisfy a threshold match score, the call challenger can prevent the call from connecting with the user equipment.

Abstract: A method includes receiving location data related to devices transmitted during a first interval. The location data includes at least two GPS points of a first device and a single GPS point of a second device. The method includes identifying a subset of the devices that are within a vicinity of an area associated with a traffic event based on the data. The method includes determining that the first device will not approach the area during a second interval based on the two GPS points and determining that the second device will not approach the geographic area during the second interval based at least on the single GPS data point and a second location datum. The method includes filtering the first and second devices from the subset and transmitting an alert indicative of the traffic event to the subset.

Abstract: An arrangement of physical objects can be analyzed using a captured digital image of the arrangement and a reference display file database. A processing device communicatively coupled to the reference display file database receives the captured image depicting the arrangement of physical objects and accesses a reference display file from the reference display file database. The reference display file includes multi-viewpoint image data and scoring components. The processing device identifies at least some of the physical objects using the reference display file. The processing device scores each identified object for such attributes as presence, position and orientation using the scoring components from the reference display file, producing an overall score based on the scoring of each identified object. The processing device can then transmit the overall score to other systems.

Abstract: A more efficient network can be achieved using over the air (OTA) software updates for connected vehicles. Based on a connected vehicles batter power, OTA updates can be performed in accordance with base station devices while the base station devices are not at or near a capacity. Other factors that can determine when and where an OTA software push is performed can comprise vehicle speed, base station communication range, traffic density, etc. Analysis of historical route data for vehicles and historical capacity data for base station devices can also help facilitate determining a wireless network availability for connected vehicles.
