Abstract: A controller in a vehicle control system includes a communication state determiner that determines a communication state between a facility communicator and a vehicle communicator in each vehicle, and a recorder. When the communication state determiner determines that the communication state between the facility communicator and the vehicle communicator in any vehicle has a communication failure, the controller obtains vehicle state information indicating a state of a target vehicle being the vehicle having the communication failure at at least one data obtaining point in a target period including at least one of a failure-occurrence point or a failure-recovery point of the communication failure, and records the vehicle state information in the recorder.

The MRIU provides edge computing capability for autonomous vehicles to train and operate artificial intelligence-based intelligent driving models in a distributed fashion. Specifically, an edge computing unit conducts data fusion and data feature extraction, provides prediction, formulates control strategies, generates vehicle control instructions, and/or distributes vehicle control information and/or instructions for an autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: Performing filtering of infrastructure-to-vehicle (V2I) messages by a vehicle is provided. First messages are received from one or more road-side units (RSUs). Responsive to the vehicle approaching a check-in location indicated by the first messages, a check-in location identifier is stored for the check-in location retrieved from the first messages as being a current check-in location for the vehicle. Second messages are received from the one or more RSUs. Responsive to a message identifier in the second messages matching the check-in location identifier, the second messages are forwarded to a vehicle application for processing. Otherwise the second messages are discarded.

Abstract: A vehicle speed control method, an apparatus, a device and a storage medium applied to a vehicle. The method includes: receiving (S210) a speed limit command sent by a speed control device, where the speed limit command includes a speed limit, and the speed limit command is generated by the speed control device when it is determined a position of the vehicle is in an area where an accident occurrence rate is greater than or equal to a preset threshold; reducing (S220) a travelling speed of the vehicle to less than the speed limit in response to the speed limit command. According to the vehicle speed control method, vehicle speed can be controlled according to actual safety situation on a road, thereby improving safety of vehicle travelling.

Abstract: An approach is provided for providing a wireless data connection to a vehicle. In some aspects, the approach includes receiving vehicle cluster information that is based at least in part on location information of each vehicle in a vehicle cluster traveling on a road link. The approach also includes determining one or more parameters for at least one antenna beam based on the vehicle cluster information, wherein the at least one antenna beam is configured to sufficiently cover the vehicle cluster. The approach further includes controlling the at least one antenna beam to track the vehicle cluster along the road link.

Abstract: Autonomous and manually operated vehicles are integrated into a cohesive, interactive environment, with communications to each other and to their surroundings, to improve traffic flow while reducing accidents and other incidents. All vehicles send/receive messages to/from each other, and from infrastructure devices, enabling the vehicles to determine their status, traffic conditions and infrastructure. The vehicles store and operate in accordance with a common set of rules based upon the messages received and other inputs from sensors, databases, and so forth, to avoid obstacles and collisions based upon current and, in some cases, future or predicted behavior. Shared vehicle control interfaces enable the AVs to conform to driving activities that are legal, safe, and allowable on roadways. Such activities enable each AV to drive within safety margins, speed limits, on allowed or legal driving lanes and through allowed turns, intersections, mergers, lane changes, stops/starts, and so forth.

Abstract: A vehicle-to-everything (V2X) enrollment method and communication system of a vehicle includes a transceiver configured for communication with other original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vehicles and an OEM backend system, and a controller in communication with the transceiver and configured to perform a V2X enrollment process. The V2X enrollment process includes, during a first phase, transmitting an identity certificate request to the OEM backend system, and receiving and securely storing a signed identity certificate from the OEM backend system. During a subsequent second phase, the enrollment process includes securely connecting and authenticating with the OEM backend system using the signed identify certificate, and receiving and securely storing a V2X enrollment certificate from the OEM backend system.
