The drive bracket has a base (60), a first side wall (62), a second side wall (64) and an end wall (66) which together define a space for receiving a disk drive therein. The first side wall forms a second chamber having a pair of opposite faces (74) abuttingly secured between the supporting plates of the side panel. The second side wall forms a bent plate (82) defining at least one aperture (84) for engagement with the finger of the front panel. The end wall defines a cutout (65) to retain the post of the bottom panel. The second side wall further forms at least one plate (86) and one finger (88) for securing a second drive bracket to the housing.

    摘要: A main board support panel retains a main computer board in a computer enclosure. The main board support panel has a plate for supporting the main board. The plate has a bottom edge and an opposite top edge. Two retaining tabs are formed on the bottom edge. Two offset tabs are formed on a bottom plate of the enclosure and gaps are defined between the offset tabs and the bottom plate of the enclosure for receiving the retaining tabs therein. Two retaining lugs are formed on the top edge of the plate. Each retaining lug has an inclined first edge and an opposite second edge with a recess defined therein. Each retaining lug is inserted between first and second bosses formed on the enclosure by moving the main board support panel in a first direction substantially normal to the panel. The inclined edge of the retaining lug slides along the first boss of the enclosure for guiding and moving the main board support panel with respect to the enclosure in a second direction substantially normal to the first direction whereby the recess engages with the second boss to secure the panel in the enclosure.

The rail assembly comprises a rail and a conductive fastener attached to the rail for fixing the rail to a data storage device. The rail comprises a body and a latch so connected with the body as to be capable of a flexing movement relative to the body for engaging with a computer enclosure. The body defines a number of pairs of through holes and a first slot. The fastener comprises a pair of tabs for engagingly extending into a selected pair of the through holes of the rail and a pair of posts for extending through the first slot of the rail to securely engaging with the data storage device. The fastener can mount the rail to the data storage device with the rail attached at a number of different positions relative to the data storage device.

    摘要: A component support frame retains a power supply in a computer enclosure. The component support frame includes a U-shaped receptacle for receiving the power supply therein. Pawls are formed in the receptacle for engaging with and retaining the power supply. A pair of spaced first lugs is formed on the component support frame and defines aligned holes for receiving a pivot pin. The pivot pin is rotatably received in aligned holes defined in second lugs formed on the enclosure thereby pivotally attaching the component support frame to the enclosure. A grasping tab is formed on the receptacle for facilitating manual movement of the component support frame between a retracted position where the power supply is received in the enclosure and an extended position where the power supply is at least partially exposed for facilitating maintenance and repair.

    摘要: A fixing apparatus (10) for storage devices (80) includes a drive bracket (20) and a fixing plate (40). The drive bracket includes a side panel (24) defining grooves (28) for slidingly receiving screws (82) that are attached on opposite sides of the storage devices. The fixing plate is attached on the side panel, and includes locking elements (44). Each locking element includes a spring portion (56), a stop wall (58), and a handle (60). To insert a storage device, the screws are slid along opposite grooves. One screw outward presses a spring portion, and causes it to be elastically deformed. When that screw has slid beyond the spring portion, the spring portion elastically returns to its original position. The stop wall and the side panel sandwich that screw therebetween. Up to three storage devices are thus secured within the drive bracket.

Each first tab is associated with an opening defined in the first front plate. An inner casing is received in the outer casing and is movably supported on the bottom panel. The inner casing has at least a second front plate abutting against the first front plate of the outer casing. Second tabs are formed on the second front plate for being received in the openings of the outer casing and abutting against the corresponding first tabs for positioning the inner casing with respect to the outer casing and establishing a grounding path therebetween. The openings of the outer casing are shielded by the second front plate of the inner casing thereby preventing leakage of electromagnetic radiation therethrough.

The shield forms projections on opposite walls thereof for engaging a surface of a front panel of a computer enclosure adjacent edges of an opening defined in the front panel. A resilient latch extends from a wall of the housing through the opening of the front panel and forms a barb for engaging with a tab of the front panel for securely fixing the connector holder to the front panel. Fixing pins are formed on an edge of the housing of the connector holder for being received in corresponding holes defined in the front panel to properly position the connector holder with respect to the front panel. The engagement between the projections of the shield and the front panel forms an electrical path for grounding the shield to the front panel.

    摘要: A bezel mounting device is adapted to mount a bezel to a front panel of a computer casing. The bezel mounting device includes a rectangular frame having top and bottom sections connected by opposite side sections. Each side section defines elongate slots for movably receiving corresponding posts extending from the bezel for movably attaching the bezel mounting device to the bezel whereby the bezel mounting device is movable between a locking position and a releasing position. Arcuate resilient members are formed on the bottom section and supported by a bottom flange of the bezel for biasing the bezel mounting device toward the locking position. A plurality of barbs are formed on the top and side sections and received in corresponding slots defined in the front panel whereby the barbs simultaneously engage with the slots of the front panel by being biased by the arcuate resilient members to attach the bezel mounting device to the front panel. The bottom section forms a handle for manually moving the bezel mounting device against the arcuate resilient members to disengage the barbs from the slots of the panel thereby releasing the bezel mounting device from the casing.
