    摘要: A liquid development apparatus utilizes wet development as a development method and an image forming technique. The apparatus uses squeegee rollers, disposed facing a developer roller, and moved to adjacent positions at which the squeegee rollers contact a liquid developer which is on the developer roller. Density adjustment bias generators are connected between the developer roller and the squeegee rollers. The density adjustment bias generators include, among other things, positive bias power source parts, negative bias power source parts, short-circuit line parts, and switches which switch connections of the respective parts through in accordance with a control signal received from a CPU. A method that the apparatus performs is also provided.

Included are a base plate having an opening portion and made of alloy 426, an X-ray transmission window made of titanium foil and arranged to close the opening portion of the base plate, a flat box-like vessel portion attached to the base plate and inside of which is in a vacuum state, an X-ray target provided at the opening portion in the vessel portion, and an electron source injecting electrons to the X-ray target in the vessel portion. The electron source includes a liner cathode, a first control electrode pulling out electrons from the cathode and a second control electrode restricting radiation range of the pulled-out electrons. At this time, X-rays emitted from the X-ray window spreads radially from opening shape of the opening portion.

The area difference of two triangles divided by a first diagonal is computed in a quadrangle formed by the grid points after deformation of the medium, and the area difference of two triangles divided by a second diagonal different from the first diagonal is computed in the quadrangle. The quadrangle quasi-formed on the medium prior to deformation is divided using one of the first and second diagonals that yields the larger area difference, and the formation amount of colorant formed on the medium is corrected according to the deformation ratio after deformation for the triangles formed by the division.
