    摘要: Bending wave vibrations propagating in a substrate of a touch input device are sensed. Provision is made for discriminating between sensed vibrations propagating in the substrate indicative of an intended touch and sensed vibrations propagating in the substrate indicative of an unintended touch. In response to the sensed vibrations propagating in the substrate indicative of the intended touch, a wake-up signal is generated. The wake-up signal is communicated to a control system of the touch input device for transitioning the control system from a sleep state to an operational state.

    摘要: A relatively low cost, portable, low complexity, low power helmet mounted display using an electroluminescent display and associated drive circuitry configured and interconnected to take advantage of our ability to provide a -180 V and +240 V output to a row driver from a single -180 V and an already existing +60 V Supply, thus eliminating size, weight and expense of supplying a separate 240 V power supply. The +60 V power supply is already supplying the +60 V to the column driver circuitry. Also included is a column driver with a direct analog interface with an input buffer, the buffer including a polarity inverter and an adder for selectively inverting the external analog signal and adding a DC voltage.

A touch applied to a node of the panel changes a capacitive coupling between two electrodes (a drive electrode and a sense electrode) of the touch panel. The drive unit delivers a drive signal, which may comprise one or more drive pulses, to the drive electrode. The sense unit couples to the sense electrode, and generates a response signal that includes a differentiated representation of the drive signal. The amplitude of the response signal is responsive to the capacitive coupling between the electrodes, and is measured to provide an indication of a touch at the node.
