    Abstract: An integrated drive circuit for multi-segment electroluminescent displays is provided. During a charging phase, the electroluminescent segments are charged by a common charge circuit, and partially discharged using separate discharge circuits associated with individual electroluminescent segments. A controller provides essentially independent control over the respective discharge circuits so, by the end of the charging phase, the EL segments can be charged to correspondingly different final voltages. Then during a discharging phase following the charging phase, the electroluminescent segments are completely discharged, thereby emitting an intensity of light that varies roughly in proportion to the final accumulated voltage. The controller can be pre-programmed with a spatial-temporal light pattern so that, using the disclosed integrated drive circuit, the electroluminescent display can be operated to generate rudimentary animations.

    Abstract: The embodiments of this disclosure provide a display driving circuit, an array substrate, a circuit driving method, and a display device. The array substrate comprises a plurality of rows of scan lines, a plurality of columns of data lines, and a plurality of pixel units being defined by intersecting of the plurality of rows of scan lines and the plurality of columns of data lines; each column of data lines being connected to a reset module; each column of data lines being further connected to a current control module configured to form a first current flowing from a data line connected thereto to a reference voltage line; a first transistor, a second transistor, a first capacitor, and a connection enable module are disposed within each of the pixel units, gates of the first transistor and the second transistor are both connected to a first node, and first electrodes of the first transistor and the second transistor are both connected to a preset-level voltage line; the connection enable module is connected to one scan line corresponding to a pertained pixel unit; the first capacitor is connected between the first node and the preset-level voltage line; and a second electrode of the second transistor is connected to the output terminal of the pertained pixel unit. This disclosure can reduce the number of transistors within the pixel unit and the number of signal lines in the row direction, simplify circuit structure and circuit timing.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a display panel in which a plurality of pixels are arranged, each of the plurality of pixels including an organic EL element and a wire, the method comprising: stacking a light-emitting layer included in the organic EL element and a drive circuit layer included in the wire; and irradiating a predetermined area of the wire having a short-circuit point with a femtosecond laser from the back surface, the laser not passing through the light-emitting layer, the irradiating including: reducing a beam diameter to be approximately a wire width, and irradiating the predetermined area with the femtosecond laser; and reducing the beam diameter to be less than the beam diameter in the reducing the beam diameter, and irradiating corners of the predetermined area to disconnect the wire at the predetermined area.
