    Abstract: Processes and devices for equalizing an audio system that is adapted to use a loudspeaker to transduce test audio signals into test sounds. The processes and devices can involve the use of infrared signals to convey information in one or both directions between the audio system and a portable computer device that captures test sounds, calculates audio parameters that can be used in the equalization process, and transmits these audio parameters back to the audio system for its use in equalizing audio signals that are played by the audio system.

    Abstract: A wearable audio device including first and second transducer modules is provided. The first transducer module may include a first transducer. The first transducer module may further include a first enclosure having a top side defining a first slit and a bottom side defining a second slit. The first enclosure may be configured to guide a first sound pressure through the first slit, and a second sound pressure through the second slit. The second transducer module may include a second transducer. The second transducer module may include a second enclosure having a top side defining a third slit and a bottom side defining a fourth slit. The second enclosure may be configured to guide a third sound pressure through the third slit, and a fourth sound pressure through the fourth slit. The third and fourths slit may be arranged diagonally opposite the first and second slits, respectively.

The biological signals may be used to trigger the product of an upcoming, separate command. The product may take action based on the received command.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides hearing assistance devices and methods of generating a resonance within hearing assistance devices that use moving coil drivers, e.g., electro-dynamic coil drivers. As small moving coil drivers are typically inefficient within the voice band of frequencies, e.g., above 1 kHz, the hearing assistance devices described herein utilize the resonance of a mass within the hearing assistance device and a compliance of air within the housing of the hearing assistance device or within portions of the acoustic driver housing to aid in amplification of select frequencies within the voice band of human speech, e.g., between 2.5 kHz and 6 kHz. By using the assistance of the resonance created, the moving coil driver utilized does not need to operate as efficiently within the range of resonance frequencies.
