Abstract: The technology described in this document can be embodied in a method that includes receiving, at a processing device, a feedback signal from a recording device, and generating, based on the feedback signal, a control signal for adjusting an acoustic output of a speaker device to achieve a target acoustic distribution within the environment. The feedback signal can indicate an acoustic characteristic of an environment in which a speaker device is located. The method also includes providing the control signal to the speaker device.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for dynamic starting rates for guided breathing. According to an aspect, a user's initial breathing metric is determined. A multiplier is then determined, where the multiplier varies as a function of the initial breathing metric within a range. The level of intensity of the multiplier may vary, and may be a dynamic feature based on the determination of the user's initial breathing metric. Once the multiplier is determined, the multiplier is applied to the user's initial breathing metric to determine a starting breathing metric for guided breathing. The starting breathing metric is slower than or equal to the user's initial breathing metric.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for non-linear breathing entrainment. As described herein, “breathing entrainment” refers to guiding a user's breath or breathing. According to an aspect, an initial breathing period and a final breathing period are selected. Based on the initial and final breathing periods, a non-linear breath rate per minute sequence is determined. A guiding stimulus is output and aligned with the non-linear breath rate per minute sequence. The guiding stimulus is non-linearly altered with the non-linear breath rate per minute sequence to align with the final breathing period over an interval of time. The non-linear alterations of the guiding stimulus vary based on an amount of time the guiding stimulus has been output.

Abstract: A plurality of microphones are positioned at different locations. A dispatch system in communication with the microphones derives a plurality of audio signals from the plurality of microphones, computes a confidence score for each derived audio signal, compares the computed confidence scores. Based on the comparison, the dispatch system selects at least one of the derived audio signals for further handling, receives a response to the further processing, and outputs the response using an output device. The output device does not correspond to the microphone that captured the selected audio signals.

The first and second signals are generated from the input signal based on a feedback signal received from the second acoustic device. The first acoustic device also includes an output port for providing a portion of the second signal to the second acoustic device.

Abstract: A system includes a plurality of microphones positioned at different microphone locations, a plurality of loudspeakers positioned at different loudspeaker locations, and a dispatch system in communication with the microphones and loudspeakers. The dispatch system derives a plurality of voice signals from the plurality of microphones, computes a confidence score about the inclusion of a wakeup word for each derived voice signal, compares the computed confidence scores, and based on the comparison, selects at least one of the derived voice signals and transmits at least a portion of the selected signal or signals to a speech processing system.
