Abstract:
Resource constraints for a group of individual application products to be configured for shared resource usage of at least one shared resource within a single operating system instance are analyzed by a resource allocation module. An individual resource allocation for each of the group of individual application products is determined based upon the analyzed resource constraints for the group of individual application products. The determined individual resource allocation for each of the group of individual application products is implemented within the single operating system instance using local inter-product message communication bindings by the single operating system instance.
Abstract:
An imaging system includes an image sensor, a digital image sensing device and a host system. The digital image sensing device provides image data in a plurality of formats, suitable for the differing requirements of different applications running on a host system.
Abstract:
A space-efficient workroom organization system comprising a slotwall panel with at least one repositionable slotwall-mounted storage cabinet, and a workbench system comprising a workbench having a work surface and defining a storage recess beneath the work surface, with at least one mobile storage cabinet.
Abstract:
An electric motor monitoring system is described that comprises an antenna, a data sampling means and a data processing means. The system employs the antenna to detect high frequency arcing events within the electric motor that can thereafter be mapped so as to provide a means for motoring, recording and diagnosing a variety of electric motor operating and fault conditions. The antenna design allows for the suppression of background electrical noise so improving the signal to noise ratio of the detected signals. The same system also provides a facility for optimising the alignment, and monitoring the efficiency of, the electrical and mechanical components of the electric motor.
Abstract:
A dual path analog-to-digital conversion method and system. The system includes a first and second circuits. The first and second circuits each convert an input analog signal into digital signals at differing sample rates. The circuit having the slower sampling rate aliases frequency components of the input analog signal that are higher than half that sampling rate. Frequency components causing the aliasing in the slower sampling circuit are replicated from the faster sampling circuit at the appropriate amplitude, folded into the aliased frequency, and subtracted from the output of the slower sampling circuit. The outputs of both sampling circuits are then merged. These techniques extend the bandwidth of the slower conversion system without degrading the low-frequency accuracy of the slower conversion system.
Abstract:
At least one message flow file that stores a message flow is read by a processor. The message flow stored within the at least one message flow file is parsed. The message flow is organized within a memory as a message flow database structure. Entries within the message flow database structure represent nodes, connections, and properties used by the message flow. The message flow database structure is edited in response to receipt of a structured query language (SQL) statement that specifies a change to the message flow database structure.
