摘要: Methods and systems to predictively determine to perform a computing activity based on contextual information. Context-based criteria are defined based relationships between user-computing activity and contextual information, and are evaluated based on updated contextual information to determine whether to perform the computing activity. Context-based criteria may be defined to predictively identify content to be transferred/synchronized/updated and/or deleted, and/or to select one or more of multiple devices to receive content. Content may be selectively synchronized across devices of a user and/or shared with another user(s). Context-based criteria may relate to, without limitation, location, activity, computer-usage patterns, motion, and/or schedule of a user, device location, user/device proximity, relationships amongst content, users, and/or devices. Context-based computing environment parameters may be provided to pre-loaded content on device (e.g., store, open, and/or configure an operating system, application, and/or resource), with little or no user interaction.

摘要: In accordance with some embodiments of the present invention, information about a user's activities and habits may be collected on an ongoing basis with the user's permission. This information about previous history can then tied to inferences that enable predictions about the user's preferences. As a result, when it comes time for the user to make a decision or a selection, information about past history and permissible inferences can be used to automatically provide suggestions for implementing future activities. In addition, in some cases this previous history information can be used to optimize future selections.

摘要: A method and device for controlling use of context information of a user includes establishing a context policy enforcement engine on a mobile computing device. The context policy enforcement engine may be embodied as software and/or hardware components. The context policy enforcement engine retrieves context policy data in response to receiving a request for context information related to a user. The context policy data defines a set of context rules for responding to context requests. The context policy enforcement engine responds to the request based on the set of context rules.

摘要: Various embodiments allow a non-volatile memory device to manage multiple process requests from an associated computing device. In at least some embodiments, a multi-threaded state machine is included in the supporting logic of the non-volatile memory device. Multiple process requests are received by the non-volatile memory device and serviced in a multi-threaded fashion.

摘要: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for identifying a plurality of computing systems proximate to a peripheral device and determining a gaze location of a user. Additionally, the peripheral device may be automatically connected to a first computing system in the plurality of computing systems based on the gaze location of the user. In one example, a change in the gaze location may be detected, wherein the peripheral device is automatically connected to a second computing system in the plurality of computing systems based on the change in the gaze location.

摘要: Technologies for localized audio enhancement of a three-dimensional video include capturing a three-dimensional video including depth data using a three-dimensional camera of a mobile computing device and receiving a three-dimensional audio associated with the three-dimensional video using a microphone array. A user may enhance localized audio by selecting a region of the three-dimensional image from the three-dimensional video. In response, the mobile computing device generates an audio component of the three-dimensional audio corresponding to the selected region based on depth data associated with the selected region. A user may subsequently enhance the audio component by, for example, increasing the volume of the audio component or increasing the clarity of the audio component. In this way, a user may focus the audio playback on a selected portion of the three-dimensional video, which improves the user's ability to listen and understand an individual, group of individuals, or region captured in the three-dimensional video.

摘要: A system, devices, and methods for providing a personalized search library based on continual concept correlation include a client computing device and a personalized content server. Content events representing content accessed or manipulated by a user of the client computing device are continually generated. Content associated with the content events is continually parsed and analyzed to extract main concepts. The extracted concepts are correlated and weighted into a concept model, based on the order of the content events. The concept model parallels the structure of the user's memory. Data sources are continually searched for content relevant to a current context of the concept model. Relevant content is indexed according to the concept model. The relevant content may be made available to the user upon request or proactively. Relevant content may be cached for future use by the user. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
