Abstract: Provided are a positive electrode active material and a preparation method thereof, a positive electrode plate, a secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an electric apparatus. The positive electrode active material includes a core including Li1+xMn1−yAyP1−z,RzO4, a first coating layer enveloping the core and containing a crystalline pyrophosphate LiaMP2O7 and/or Mb(P2O7)e, a second coating layer enveloping the first coating layer and containing a crystalline oxide M′dOe, and a third coating layer enveloping the second coating layer and containing carbon. The positive electrode active material of this application can reduce Li/Mn anti-site defects generated, reduce dissolving-out amount of manganese, lower the lattice change rate, increase the capacity of the secondary battery, and improve the cycling performance, high-temperature storage performance, and safety performance of the secondary battery.

Abstract: An electrolyte and an electrochemical device, which relates to the field of energy storage materials. The electrolyte includes an additive A, an additive B and an additive C, the additive A selected from a group consisting of multi-cyano six-membered N-heterocyclic compounds represented by Formula I-1, Formula I-2 or Formula I-3, and combinations thereof, the additive B is at least one sulfonate compound, and the additive C is at least one halogenated cyclic carbonate compound. The electrochemical device includes the above electrolyte. The electrolyte of the present disclosure can effectively passivate the surface activity of the positive electrode material, inhibit the oxidation of the electrolyte, and effectively reduce gas production of a battery, meanwhile the electrolyte can be also adsorbed catalytically active of the graphite surface to form a more stable SEI film, thereby effectively reducing side reactions

Abstract: The present application discloses a positive electrode active material including a lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, the molar content of nickel in the lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide accounts for 60%-90% of the total molar content of nickel, cobalt and manganese, and the lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide has a layered crystal structure of a space group R 3m; a transition metal layer of the lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide includes a doping element, and the local mass concentration of the doping element in particles of the positive electrode active material has a relative deviation of 20% or less; and in a differential scanning calorimetry spectrum of the positive electrode active material in a 78% delithiation state, an initial exothermic temperature of a main exothermic peak is 200° C. or more, and an integral area of the main exothermic peak is 100 J/g or less.
