    Abstract: A digital camera includes an image capturing unit, an angular velocity sensor, an image determination unit, and an image composition unit. The angular velocity sensor acquires a displacement amount in a field of view of image data when the image data is captured at predetermined time intervals. The image determination unit sets a determination criterion for determining whether the image data thus captured is to be combined or not based on the displacement amount in the field of view acquired by the angular velocity sensor. Also, the image determination unit determines whether or not the image data thus captured is valid as a composition target based on the determination criterion thus set.
