摘要: A molten steel refining apparatus and a method therefor, in which the carbon component of molten steel can be easily removed, the temperature drop of molten steel can be effectively reduced, and a stable operation is realized. The apparatus for refining molten steel for manufacturing ultra low carbon steel includes an RH vacuum-degassing device consisting of a vessel and a snorkel composed of an up-leg and a down-leg. The apparatus further includes a plurality of gas injection lance nozzles each consisting of an inner tube and an outer tube, and installed on the side wall of the vessel of the RH vacuum-degassing device so as to inject gas toward molten steel within the vessel. The inner tube includes a throat for forming a jet stream of super-sonic velocity, and the outer tube injects cooling gas for cooling the inner tube.

摘要: A control knob for a vehicle has an improved outward appearance by forming a boundary line between two different materials in a portion that is not visible and preventing abrupt differences in color due to light refraction. The control knob is produced by dual injection molding of two different materials, is installed on one end of a shift lever, and functions as a handgrip. The control knob includes an portion of opaque and transparent materials, an overlapping portion opaque and transparent materials, and a coated portion formed of paint applied to portions of the transparent portion that do not overlap with the opaque portion. A boundary surface between the opaque and transparent portions is such that a refractive index of light passing through the transparent portion from the overlapping portion is close to a refractive index of light passing through the transparent portion from the coated portion.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an asymmetrically expanding airbag cushion for a vehicle, which is inflated when airbag gas flows from an inflator through a gas hole to an interior of a cushion bag as a result of a vehicle collision. The airbag cushion includes a central expansion portion, a lower expansion portion and an upper expansion portion. The central expansion portion is provided on the central portion of the cushion bag to communicate with the gas hole. The lower expansion portion is surrounded by a lower sewing line which is open at a lower portion, and positioned under the central expansion portion. The upper expansion portion is surrounded by an upper sewing line which is open at an upper portion, and positioned above the central expansion portion. The central, lower and upper expansion portions are sequentially inflated when the airbag gas flows into the cushion bag.
