The insulator defines a bottom wall and three mounting holes (21, 22 and 23) extending upwards from the bottom wall, the three mounting holes array in a triangle along a vertical surface, and each mounting hole opens forwards and upwards adapted for receiving a terminal (3). The cap is slidably mounted on the insulator, and comprises a plate (14) extending vertically to cover front surfaces of the mounting holes of the insulator and a roof (12 and 13) extending horizontally from an upper end of the plate to cover upper surfaces of the mounting holes. The plate of the cap forms three through-holes (141, 142 and 143) respectively communicating with the corresponding mounting holes and three frames (1411, 1421 and 1431) extending horizontally into the corresponding mounting holes from inner walls of said three through-holes.

The plug connector includes a plug insulative housing, a number of plug contacts and a resilient locking member mounted to the plug insulative housing. The locking member includes a front section positioned on the plug insulative housing and a pressing section extending backwardly and upwardly from the front section. The front section includes a first locking protrusion having an inclined first guiding surface and a first locking surface.     摘要: An electrical connector (100) is provided for mating with a mating connector and includes an insulator (21) having a plurality of passageways (213) defined therein and a number of conductive contacts (22) received in the passageways. Each conductive contact includes a rear fixing portion (221), a front contacting arm (224) projecting beyond the insulator and a spring portion (223) elastically connecting the contacting arm to the fixing portion. The contacting arm has a pair of contacting fingers (225) angled outwardly in a front end thereof. The spring portion is flexed to permit the contacting arm to move in a first direction. Simultaneously, the contacting fingers are forced to move outwardly in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and wipe along mating contacts 5 of the mating connector.
