摘要： The present invention provides a connector assembly including mateable receptacle connector and plug connector. The plug connector includes a plug insulative housing, a number of plug contacts and a resilient locking member mounted to the plug insulative housing. The locking member includes a front section positioned on the plug insulative housing and a pressing section extending backwardly and upwardly from the front section. The front section includes a first locking protrusion having an inclined first guiding surface and a first locking surface. When the plug connector is inserted in the receptacle connector, the first locking protrusion is downwardly movable under the drive of the pressing section so as to lock with the receptacle connector.

摘要： An electrical connector (100) includes an insulator (2), a conductive terminal (3) held in the insulator, a latch (4) and a button (5). The insulator comprises a pair of guide posts (21) on both sides of the front thereof and a pair of arm portions (22) on both sides of the rear thereof, a recess (221, 222) disposed in the arm portion and extending into the guide post. The latch is received and held in the recess of the insulator, and comprises a holding portion (41) received in the arm portion for holding the latch in the insulator, an engaging portion (42) extending forwards from the front of the holding portion and received in the guide post for engaging with a complementary connector, a spring portion (43) extending outwards and forwards from the rear of the holding portion, and a driving portion (442) extending forwards from the spring portion to approach the engaging portion so as to drive the engaging portion by pressure. The button is mounted on the spring portion and covers the latch.

摘要： A cable connector assembly (100) according to the present invention includes an insulator (2), a PCB (5) and a wire management member (4). The insulator includes a front side, a rear side, a number of terminal passages (24) between the front side and the rear side, and a number of terminals (3) respectively mounted in the terminal passages, each of the terminals has a tail (33) extended out of the rear side of the insulator. The PCB is located behind the insulator and includes a number of first conductive pads (51) which connect with the corresponding terminals and a number of second conductive pads (52) which is soldered to a number of wires (6), the first conductive pads electrically connect with the corresponding second conductive pads. The wire management member is held by the insulator, and defines a number of wire management grooves (421) above the PCB and adjacent to the second conductive pads, the wire management grooves receives the corresponding wires for enabling the wires to be respectively soldered to the second conductive pads.

摘要： A connector assembly includes a cable connector and a receptacle connector. The receptacle connector includes a receptacle housing defining a receiving slot and a number of contacts including multiple first contacts and multiple second contacts. The second contacts include a number of differential signal contacts and ground contacts among which the differential signal contacts are paired and the ground contacts are located at opposite lateral sides of each paired differential signal contacts. The first contacts are ordinally arranged as GGVV, or VGVG, or VVGG, or GVGV, or GVVG, or VGGV, or VSSG, or GSSV. The second contacts are compatible to USB 3.0 protocol for high-speed signal transmission. As a result, it is easy to control the impedance of the whole transmission system so as to decrease signal attenuation and signal reflection.
