摘要: An information carrier medium containing software that, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to receive information from circuit logic that is adapted to collect the information from caches on different cache levels. At least some of the information is from caches on different cache levels associated with a common address. The processor also displays the information by way of a graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI displays a portion of the information using a mark-up technique different from that used to display remaining portions of the information.

摘要: The retrieval tool includes a cylindrical member having a body, an inner passage, a guide cylinder and an engaging member. The engaging member may slide within the cylindrical member in order to frictionally engage a whipstock against an inner surface of the guide cylinder, facilitating removal of the whipstock from a borehole. A actuating member, piston, retainer and swivel sub may be used to connect the engaging member to the retrieval tool and enhance the mobility of the engaging member within the cylindrical member. A spring may also facilitate locking engagement of the engaging member and whipstock. Contact between the retrieval tool and the whipstock may lead to an increase of pressure within the inner passage, such pressure increasing the engagement between the engaging member and whipstock.

摘要: A teleconferencing system, including apparatus and methods, for providing transcription and/or translation services during a teleconference is disclosed. The disclosed teleconferencing system establishes a voice connection and a data connection with participants to the teleconference desiring transcription services. The speech of each participant to the teleconference is transcribed using voice recognition technology in real or near-real time. Additionally, the transcribed text may be translated into a participant's desired language. The translation may be generated in real or near-real time on a word by word basis or alternatively, on a phrase by phrase or sentence by sentence basis. The translated and transcribed text is displayed for a participant using the established data connection. The transcribed (and possibly translated) text may be displayed in real or near-real time during a participant's speech. Audio translation services are also provided to a participant using text to speech software to generate an audio signal from the translated and transcribed text.

摘要: A method of speeding up playback of a digitized audio signal without raising the pitch and without introducing discontinuities in the speech signal, comprises sub-band coding (SBC) consecutive blocks of the audio signal with standard SBC or wavelet compression to derive frames of data. Next periodic adjacent pairs of the frames are dropped to leave a stream of remaining frames. A sped up approximation of the digitized audio signal is then reconstructed by sub-band decoding consecutive remaining frames. The method can also be used to slow speech playback by replicating, rather than dropping, adjacent pairs of frames.

摘要: A debug tool that generates a call stack listing by analyzing the crash memory dump data without relying on register data values. The tool uses information gathered by the compiler and linker when the program was compiled and linked, including the stack's size and location in memory. By examining the stack location in the crash memory dump image in conjunction with the debugging data generated by the compiler and the linker and any existing trace data, the last valid frame may be reconstructed indicating the location of the crash.

摘要: A method and system of identifying overlays used by a program. The overlays may be executable overlays (e.g., overlay programs and dynamically linked library programs), or the overlays may be data sets. Depending on the number of overlays and/or the type of information used to identify the overlays, an indication of the identity of the overlays may be written to a register (whose contents are inserted into the trace data stream), or the indication may comprise an entry in a log buffer and an index value written to the register (again whose contents are inserted into the trace data stream, and where the index value identifies the entry in the log buffer).

摘要: A wireline cutter comprises a primary housing with a first axial bore configured to receive a wireline positioned within a well bore, and a first blade mounted within the primary housing and operable to cut the wireline. A method of cutting a wireline in a well bore comprises running a wireline cutter into the well bore, receiving the wireline within the wireline cutter, and cutting the wireline with the wireline cutter. A one-trip cutting system for use in a well bore comprises a wireline cutter, and a coiled tubing cutter. A method for cutting a coiled tubing with a wireline disposed therein comprises running a system comprising a wireline cutter and a coiled tubing cutter into the well bore, cutting the coiled tubing with the coiled tubing cutter, and cutting the wireline with the wireline cutter, wherein both cutting steps are performed in one trip into the well bore.
