    摘要: A valve apparatus (10) comprises a housing (12) defining a flow path (14), a valve seat (42) located within the housing (12) around a periphery of the flow path (14), a carriage member (16) located within the housing (12), a cutting arrangement (28) mounted on the carriage member (16), and a valve member (32) mounted on the carriage member (16) via a connection assembly (34) which permits relative movement between the valve member (32) and the carriage member (16). The carriage member (16) is moveable from a first position towards a second position to drive the cutting arrangement (28) across the flow path (14) and to move the valve member (32) into a position in which relative movement between the valve member (32) and the carriage member (16) permits the valve member (32) to sealingly engage and disengage the valve seat (42) to control flow along the flow path (14).

    摘要: A valve has a moveable member movable between open and closed configurations and a cutting device arranged to shear against an anvil member when moving between the open and closed configurations and a sealing member providing a seat for seating of the moveable member when the moveable member is in the closed configuration. The anvil member and the sealing member are moveable relative to one another when the moveable member is moving from the open to the closed configuration. During opening and closing the sealing member is displaced away from the cutting device as the cutting device engages the anvil member. The sealing member is pushed away from the moveable member and the anvil to a maximum separation from the movable member at the point on the stroke when the cutting surface of the moveable member is moving past the anvil member.

    摘要: An apparatus for assisting an actuator to close a valve has a cylindrical booster housing with a central axis. The booster housing includes an upward facing piston cavity and a downward facing lower cavity with internal threads for selectively coupling with external threads of a piston head of a valve actuator. A bulkhead is formed between the piston cavity and the lower cavity. The bulkhead has an opening for selectively accepting an actuator stem of the valve actuator therethrough. A booster piston is located within the piston cavity. The booster piston has a piston mounting means located on its bottom side for selectively securing a top end of the actuator stem of the valve actuator to the booster piston. The booster piston is moveable upwards in an axial direction to move the valve from a lower open position to an upper closed position.
