摘要: A plug used in the hydraulic fracking of hydrocarbon wells. The plug, known as a frac or bridge plug, contains one or more containers housing a chemical substance such as a solid, liquid, or gel composition. The composition may constitute or include a cleaning agent, friction reducer, suspending agent, or other wellbore additive. For example, the composition may constitute or include epoxy components, resins, thermoplastics, dry add friction reducers, dry add gel, dry add pipe on pipe, similar agents, or any combination thereof. The containers can include the same chemical substance or a variety of chemical substances. During drill out of the plug, the containers rupture and release the chemical substance into the wellbore. The released chemical substance, if a cleaning agent, assists in the cleaning of the milled-plug pieces from the wellbore.

摘要: The present invention provides a tool assembly system for use in a single trip downhole operation in which an alloy plug/seal is set and then at least partially milled through. The system comprises a tubular chemical heater with a mill that has at least one flow port and a tubular mandrel arranged on the outside of the heater at up-hole and down-holes ends of the heater respectively and whereby the heater is removably retained within the mandrel so that the mill can be subsequently repositioned to work on the mandrel once the alloy plug/seal has been formed. The present invention also provides an associated method of forming an alloy plug/seal and milling it at least partially through in a single trip.

摘要: An integrated milling and production device. The device includes a production housing, a connector, a motor, and a milling bit. The production housing has a central bore with at least one flapper valve pivotally disposed therein and an actuator. Upon completion of milling operations, the connector may be disengaged from the production housing. The production housing may be repositioned in the well. Activation of the actuator permanently opens the flapper valve to permit the flow of production up the production housing to the well surface. The actuator may be a piston.

摘要: A cutting head assembly uses multiple cutting heads directing ultra-high pressure fluid in different directions towards an inner surface of a pipe to be cut in order to complete a full cut of the pipe while rotating or revolving the multiple cutting heads less than 360 degrees relative to central axis. The ultra-high pressure fluid mixes with abrasive inside fittings on or near each of the nozzles to further assist with cutting through the pipe. Some cutting head assemblies have two nozzles, while other cutting head assemblies have three or four nozzles.

摘要: A reaming assembly having an inner mandrel including spiral lobes disposed on an outer surface thereof. The inner mandrel is hollow and is sized large enough to freely pass a standard drill bit therethrough. The reaming assembly includes an outer mandrel disposed around the inner mandrel and includes spiral lobes disposed on an inner surface of the outer mandrel. The outer mandrel has a number of spiral lobes equal to the number of spiral lobes of the inner mandrel plus one. The reaming assembly includes a spacing between the outer surface of the inner mandrel and the inner surface of the outer mandrel through which fluid is pumped to generate torque therebetween; wherein at least one of the inner and outer mandrel is free to rotate.
