摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for communicating elements between multi-link devices are disclosed. Apparatuses of a first access points (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) are disclosed, where the apparatuses comprise processing circuitry configured to encode a first portion of a first beacon frame or first response frame, and in response to a second AP of the AP MLD transmitting, on a second frequency band, a second beacon frame or a second probe response frame comprising a channel switch announcement element or an enhanced channel switch announcement frame, encoding a second portion of the first beacon frame or the first probe response frame, the second portion comprising the channel switch announcement element or the enhanced channel switch announcement frame. The processing circuitry is further configured to configure the first AP of the AP MLD to transmit, on a first frequency band, the first beacon frame.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to fast transition Wi-Fi roaming operations. A device may generate, during a first association of the device to a first access point, a request to authenticate the device to a second access point; send, during the first association, the request to authenticate; receive, during the first association, a response indicating that the device is authenticated to the second access point; generate, during the first association, a reassociation request to the second access point; determine that a time between sending the request to authenticate and generating the reassociation request is less than a threshold time; send, based on the determination that the time is less than the threshold time, the reassociation request to the second access point; and receive a reassociation response indicative of a second association of the device to the second access point.

The MLD may protect the group-addressed message using a second key or a second integrity key. The MLD may send, using the first communication link, the group-addressed message protected using the first key or the first integrity key, and may send, using the second communication link, the group-addressed message protected using the second key or the second integrity key.

Different energy detection levels may be used than for the primary channel and the apparatus may wait a transition delay before performing the energy detection.

摘要: To communicate with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) within synchronized transmission opportunities (S-TXOPs), an access point station (AP) performs an initial management frame exchange with the STAs. During the initial management frame exchange, one or more sets of semi-static allocation parameters are signalling to the STAs. Each set of semi-static allocation parameters is associated with an allocation index (IDx). The AP may communicate data with the STAs during S-TXOPs that follow the initial management frame exchange. Each of the S-TXOPs may include an S-TXOP trigger. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include one of the allocation indices to indicate a known allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when a set of the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are to be used. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include full allocation information to indicate a new allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are not used.

A device may transmit a trigger frame to a station device (STA) multi-link device (MLD), wherein the trigger frame polls the STA MLD to announce presence on communication links. The device may identify a null data packet (NDP) from the STA MLD announcing its presence on a set of communication links. The device may establish the set of communication links with the STA MLD, wherein the STA MLD comprises a plurality of station devices (STAs). The device may allocate a plurality of tone-sets to the plurality of STAs within the STA MLD. The device may identify energy on the allocated tone-sets for each link that the STA MLD has presence on.

A MLD may identify a first backoff count associated with a first enhanced distributed channel access function (EDCAF) for a first communication link used by the MLD; identify a second backoff count associated with a second EDCAF for a second communication link used by the MLD, the first backoff count less than the second backoff count; determine a time period after that the first backoff count reaches zero and during which to refrain from transmitting using the first communication link, the time period based on the second backoff count; determine that the first communication link transitioned from an idle state to a busy state during the time period; and generate a third backoff count associated with the first EDCAF based on the first communication link transitioning to the busy state during the time period.

摘要: Embodiments of a beacon interval with boundary time points (BTPs) to improve latency for time sensitive traffic (TST) in Extremely High Throughout (EHT) WLANS are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a non-access point (AP) station (STA) is configured to decode a beacon frame received from an AP STA. The beacon frame may indicate one or more BTPs within a beacon interval (BI). The non-AP STA may obtain a transmission opportunity (TXOP) for a transmission to the AP STA. The TXOP may be bounded by the one or more BTPs. The non-AP STA may encode a PPDU for transmission to the AP STA during the TXOP.
