Abstract:
The present invention discloses a concept that the expression level of cofilin may reflect the senescent condition of a cell or tissue. According to the findings in present invention, a method for determining the cellular senescent condition in a cell or tissue sample by evaluating the expression level of cofilin is provided. The detection of the expression level of cofilin is also used to screen an effective compound or composition for regulating the senescent condition in target cells.
Abstract:
A microfluidic device includes: a shape memory substrate having a shape memory polymer matrix and a plurality of particles embedded in the shape memory polymer matrix, the shape memory polymer matrix being thermally transformable from a temporary shape to an original shape, the particles being made from a magnetically coercive material; and a microfluidic chip attached sealingly to the shape memory substrate and defining a microfluidic channel. The shape memory polymer matrix is indented inwardly to form an indented space in fluid communication with the microfluidic channel when the shape memory polymer matrix is heated to transform from the temporary shape to the original shape.
Abstract:
A magnetic filtering film is used to remove grains from liquid that goes through the magnetic filtering film. The magnetic filtering film includes a rubber film and micro-magnets. The rubber film is made of organic polymer. The rubber film is formed with apertures through which liquid can go. The micro-magnets are distributed in the rubber film for attracting ferromagnetic grains from the liquid.
Abstract:
A display with a linear driving device comprises a base, a driving device, and a display. In assembly, the driving device is mounted on the base, and then the display is fixed on a mover of the linear motor of the driving device. The user can use remote control or manual touch control to set a predetermined distance that he wants the display to move, once the display receives signal, it will instantly instruct the linear motor of the driving device to move linearly, so that the display will be moved to a predetermined position.
