A method for displaying applications of a touch-controlled device includes the steps of: generating an electronic signal according a gesture applied on a touch panel of the touch-controlled device; generating a detection result according to the electronic signal, wherein the detection result includes a first position of the gesture corresponding to the touch panel; when the detection result indicates that the detected gesture is a multi-fingered grab gesture, starting an application container; and outputting a control signal to the touch panel according to the application container, in order to display the application container at the first position.
Abstract:
An instant message monitoring and controlling system includes an instant message monitoring and controlling module, a user operation interface and a bluetooth module. The instant message monitoring and controlling module is used for monitoring and controlling plural instant message tools. The user operation interface is used for defining a bluetooth device therevia. The bluetooth module automatically searches the pairing codes required for connection with the bluetooth device. When the instant message monitoring and controlling module receives data from the instant message tools, one of the instant message tools is communicated with the bluetooth device.
Abstract:
A video conferencing signal processing system is disclosed. The video conferencing signal processing system comprises a receiver and a sender. An original video signal captured from the sender is capable of being processed into an encoded video conferencing signal by monitoring an output status of a video conferencing module of the receiver and processing the original video signal according to the output status of the receiver. The present invention reduces the consumption of system resources and the necessary transmitting bandwidth for video conferencing.
Abstract:
The invention provides an organic/inorganic hybrid material and the method for manufacturing the same. A variety of functional monomers are co-polymerized to form a copolymer. The copolymer is subjected to sol-gel reactions with metal alkoxide oligomers to form an organic/inorganic hybrid material. The hybrid material has a high refractive index, a low moisture absorption, a high light transmission ratio, and a high glass transition point, such that the material can be applied in high light extraction efficient LED sealing materials, thin and light myopia/hypropia lens, portable projector lens, high brightness LCD prism films, solar cell refractive photoelectric conversion mirrors, and camera phone/digital camera lens.
Abstract:
A processing method of a polymer product is provided. This method first supplies a gas to an atmospheric pressure plasma machine to generate an ionized gas. Then, bombard the ionized gas to the surface of the polymer product to create a surface reaction. Afterwards, a dying treatment or an electroplating treatment is performed on the polymer product.
Abstract:
A micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) package includes a MEMS microphone device. The MEMS microphone device has a first substrate and at least a sensing element on the first substrate wherein a first chamber in the MEMS microphone device is connected to the sensing element. A second substrate is disposed over the MEMS microphone device to provide a second chamber in the second substrate over the sensing element opposite to the first chamber.
Abstract:
A thermal responsive, water soluble polymer. The polymer comprises the co-polymerization product of: (a) 5˜95 wt % of N-isopropyl acrylamide (NIP); (b) 0.1˜80 wt % of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone (VPD); and optionally, (c) 0.1˜30 wt % of acrylic acid (AA). As the proportion of component (b) VPD increases, the Lower Critical Solution Temperature (LCST) and water solubility of the polymer increases. On the other hand, as the proportion of component (c) AA increases, the Lower Critical Solution Temperature (LCST) decreases and the COOH reactive groups increases, which impart high reactivity to the copolymer. By adjusting the proportion of the monomers, a broad range of LCST can be manipulated from about 20 to 80° C.
Abstract:
A vertical-external-cavity surface-emitting laser (VECSEL) is formed by providing a monolithic portion having a first laser cavity mirror and an active region disposed on the first mirror. The cavity is completed with a second laser cavity mirror, such as a DBR, deposited onto the light-receiving end of an optical device, such as an optical fiber. The DBR-on-fiber-end is mounted with respect to the active region to complete the laser cavity and to provide automatic coupling of the output laser light into the fiber.
