Abstract: A network controller and various methods for grouping access points for AFC are presented. A method includes assigning a plurality of access points to a plurality of groups based at least in part on stored AFC reports for the plurality of access points, determining, for each group of the plurality of groups, a centroid and an uncertainty range, and generating, for each group of the plurality of groups, an AFC query using the determined centroid and uncertainty range for the corresponding group.

Abstract: Embodiments herein transmit and receive in a secondary channel when a primary channel is active. In the embodiment, an access point determines that the primary channel is active, which may include waiting until a MAC header of a frame transmitted over the primary channel is decoded. In some embodiments, the access point tests that the received power is below a threshold. When it is determined that the primary channel is active and the received power is below the threshold, the access point transmits an RTS frame and receives a CTS frame over the secondary channel to reserve the secondary channel for a specified duration. In some embodiments, the access point uses NAV tracking to determine the duration of use of the primary channel to avoid collisions on the primary channel.

Abstract: A system includes a memory and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor, in response to determining that a first number of transmissions over a first link with a first frequency has failed, selects a second link with a second frequency for transmission. The second frequency is lower than the first frequency. The processor also, in response to determining that a second number of transmissions over the second link has failed, one or more of (i) stop the transmissions over the second link or (ii) begins transmissions over a third link with a third frequency. The second number is greater than the first number.

Abstract: Techniques for enhanced wireless sensing or ranging are provided. First and second channel state information (CSI) data, for a first and second link of a plurality of links in a multi-link operation (MLO) system, is collected. A set of channel parameters is estimated, based on the second CSI data, using a channel propagation model. First predicted CSI data for the first link is generated based on the estimated set of channel parameters. The first CSI data is calibrated based on the first predicted CSI data, comprising determining at least one of an amplitude difference or a phase difference between the first CSI data and the first predicted CSI data. Aggregated CSI data is generated based on the calibrated first CSI data and the second CSI data, and at least one of wireless sensing or wireless ranging is performed based on the aggregated CSI data.
