摘要: Methods and systems are provided for allocating resources to users in a wireless network including a plurality of edge nodes that provide wireless network access and multi-access edge computing functions. Slice requests are received from the users for a type of resource, including one or more of networking resources, storage resources, and computation resources. A set of slice requests to be admitted is determined based on resource availability constraints among one or more of the networking resources, the storage resources, and the computation resources at each edge node.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for placement and scheduling of radio signal processing dataflow operations. An example method provides a primitive radio signal processing computational dataflow graph that comprises nodes representing operations and directed edges representing data flow. The nodes and directed edges of the primitive radio signal processing computational dataflow graph are partitioned to produce a set of software kernels that, when executed on processing units of a target hardware platform, achieve a specific optimization objective. Runtime resource scheduling, including data placement for individual software kernels in the set of software kernels to efficiently execute operations on the processing units of the target hardware platform. The resources of the processing units in the target hardware platform are then allocated according to the defined runtime resource scheduling.

摘要: Techniques for improved wireless configuration are provided. One or more enclosing polygons of a deployment of access points (APs) are determined, and a first query for a regulatory database is generated based on the one or more enclosing polygons, where the regulatory database is spatially-indexed. In response to the first query, a set of spatial regions is received, where each spatial region in the set of spatial regions is associated with a corresponding set of wireless parameters. A first set of wireless parameters is determined, for at least a first AP in the deployment of APs, based on the set of spatial regions. The first AP is configured based on the first set of wireless parameters.

摘要: Cell edge prediction for optimized roaming may be provided. Cell edge prediction can include predicting cell edges for a plurality of APs including a connected AP and one or more additional APs. A cell edge prediction can be for a client connected to the connected AP. The cell edge prediction may comprise an indication of one or more candidate APs for the client to roam to of the one or more additional APs and an estimated time the client will reach the cell edge of the connected AP. After generating the cell edge prediction, the cell edge prediction can be transmitted to the client.

摘要: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for intelligent node type selection in a telecommunications network. In one implementation, a customer set is obtained for a communications node in the telecommunications network. The customer set includes an existing customer set and a new customer set. A set of customer events is generated for a node type of the communications node using a simulator. The set of customer events is generated by simulating the customer set over time through a discrete event simulation. An impact of the customer events is modeled for the node type of the communications node. The node type is identified from a plurality of node types for a telecommunications build based on the impact of the customer events for the node type.

In an aspect, a method comprises retrieving, from a data storage, network performance data from a plurality of user wireless mobile devices; filtering the network performance data to narrow the dataset to data samples with accurate locations and dates; counting the number of data samples indicating a coverage deficiency in an area; comparing the number of data samples indicating the coverage deficiency in the area with a predefined threshold; rendering a map including the area; and displaying on the map a visual indicator of the coverage deficiency based on the number of data samples indicating the coverage deficiency in the area exceeding the predefined threshold.

摘要: A method for configuring a flexible wireless networking system is disclosed. The system may include multiple Wi-Fi transceivers coupled to each other in parallel and selectively couplable to one or more antennas by respective switches. The method may include obtaining topology information indicating whether and how each antenna is in reach of other antennas, determining, dependent on the topology information, a configuration change including a change in which and how many of the antennas are coupled to the Wi-Fi transceivers, and initiating an activation of a switch to couple one of the antennas to one of the Wi-Fi transceivers or a deactivation of a switch to decouple one of the antennas from one of the Wi-Fi transceivers. The configuration change may be determined using a machine learning model. The configuration change may include deactivating a currently active antenna and activating at least one alternate antenna having a different coverage area.
