    摘要: Coking system, wherein the coking blends particularly based on hard coal, are fed batchwise to a reactor (1), which is heated indirectly by heat recovery in regenerators (I, II) or recuperators, whereby the reactor is built as a high-capacity coking reactor (100), several high-capacity coking reactors are combined to form a reactor block and the high-capacity coking reactors are built as mutually independent modules, whereby each module can be operated or optionally replaced independently of the neighboring modules, with little or no impairment of the operation of the neighboring modules. The individual reactors are independently operatable in terms of statics and heat supply. The regenerators, or recuperators (I, II, R, R') can be arranged laterally or underneath the reactor chamber. Neighboring reactors can have a common intermediate wall (2). The reactor chambers have a width of at least 0.7 m, a height of at least 8.5 m and a length of at least 18 m.

    摘要: A plurality of coke oven chambers is provided with respective filling inlets arranged in a row. A coal conveyor arrangement is located above such row and extends in the direction of the row. The coal conveyor arrangement is provided with a plurality of outlet units spaced from each other along the length of the row. A filling arrangement is operative for conveying coal from the outlet units to the filling inlets. The filling arrangement comprises a hopper movable along the length of the row of filling inlets and provided with a plurality of inlet units arranged to successively register with the outlet units and provided with at least one outlet unit communicating inside the hopper with the inlet units and arranged to register with successive ones of the filling inlets. The inlet units of the hopper and the at least one outlet unit of the hopper are so disposed that, when the outlet unit of the hopper registers with one of the filling inlets, one of the inlet units of the hopper registers with one of the outlet units of the coal conveying arrangement.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus is provided for charging particulate coal through ceiling holes into a coke oven. A conveyor above the coke oven ceiling is connected with each ceiling hole by a conduit. Mounted in the conduit is a first closure member which is movable to and from a position in which it permits gravity flow of coal from the conveyor to the ceiling hole. Also mounted in the conduit is a second closure member movable to and from a position in which it blocks the escape of gas from the ceiling hole. To charge, the second member is first moved to open position and thereupon the first member; when charging is completed the members are moved in reversed sequence to their closing positions.

    摘要: A cyclone separator assembly includes a conveying pipe for conveying a carrier gas and solids conveyed thereby along a flow path extending in a rectilinear direction. A diagonal wall extends across the conveying pipe in a direction which is diagonally inclined with respect to the rectilinear direction. A plurality of cyclone separator units are located adjacent the diagonal wall. A plurality of branch pipes, one each for each cyclone separator unit, convey carrier gas and solids from the conveying pipe to the cyclone separator units. Each branch pipe has a first end connected to the diagonal wall and a second end connected to a respective cyclone separator unit. At least an initial length portion of each branch pipe, taken from the first end thereof, extends in a direction substantially parallel to the rectilinear direction of flow of the carrier gas and suspended solids within the conveying pipe.

    摘要: A drivable member has an opening therethrough and is positioned within a charging port of a chamber. The drivable member has suspended therefrom an inner cover. The drivable member is axially movable with respect to the charging port between a raised position, whereat the inner cover is moved into a sealing position against an inner surface of the charging port, and a lowered position, whereat the inner cover is moved away from the inner surface. An intermediate seal is formed between the exterior of the charging port and an exterior portion of the drivable member, and the intermediate seal is maintained during all positions of movement of the drivable member. An outer cover is selectively movable into sealing engagement with an upper portion of the drivable member to form an outer seal. The outer cover may be removed and replaced by a material supply container which also forms an outer seal with the upper portion of the drivable member. Thereafter, the drivable member may be moved to the lowered position thereof to open the inner seal, and material be charged from the container through the opening and the charging port into the interior of the chamber.

    摘要: An apparatus for transferring between chambers of a coke oven charging gases which develop during the charging of the chambers, while preventing the escape of the gases to the surrounding environment, includes first and second covers mounted for movement between first positions closing charging openings through an oven roof and second positions uncovering such openings. Ducts surround the peripheries of the first and second openings, such ducts being filled with a displaceable sealing medium. First and second housings form respective first and second compartments enclosing the first and second covers, respectively, at all positions thereof. The first and second covers have apron members extending into the displaceable sealing medium in the respective ducts when the covers are in the first positions thereof. The housings have at lower portions thereof seals for sealing the compartments from the exterior. First and second lifting devices are associated with the respective housing to move the first and second covers, respectively, within the respective compartments between the first and second positions of the covers. A transfer duct extends between the first and second compartments for, upon the covers being moved from the first positions thereof, transferring charging gases between the chamber openings via the compartments.

    摘要: An apparatus for charging coke chambers is disclosed which effectively reduces and controls gas and dust emissions evolved during the coke charging operation. The charging apparatus includes a gas-tight enclosure which seals the immediate area surrounding the cooling chamber or serially arranged chambers in a cooling plant, a lift transport facility located internally to the enclosure for carrying a coke bucket to and from the respective coke cooling chambers, a crane or elevator for placing and removing the coke bucket from the lift transport facility, and an exhaust device for evacuating the gas and dust emissions from the enclosure. Inert gas feedlines are integrated with the charging operation to maintain an inert gas atmosphere within the enclosure.
