摘要: A passenger service terminal, for example in an aircraft, includes comfort and service components such as a reading lamp, a flight attendant call button, a loudspeaker, an air nozzle, an oxygen mask, an oxygen generator, and an optical display element incorporated in a separate support bail or support rod that cooperates with but remains separate from a passenger seat. An air supply duct and electrical and optical conductors pass through seat components. A bail or bow (8) forming a support, at least partly, frames the backrest and holds at least certain service and comfort components while simultaneously forming a privacy hood (19). Alternatively, side rods (8A) are arranged laterally and alongside the backrest (5) to hold lateral curtains (19A) also providing some privacy. The side rods are preferably hollow to hold an air supply duct, wiring and optical conductors. A seated passenger can easily and comfortably operate the service functions without disturbing a neighbor.

摘要: An aircraft body or fuselage is divided by a main deck (3) to form an upper deck and a lower deck. The lower deck has its own floor (5). A connecting device or several such devices, for example stairs and/or elevators, interconnect the upper deck with the lower deck in positions to facilitate central access to a plurality of lower deck facilities. Supply facilities and sanitary facilities are arranged on the lower deck to provide additional seating space on the upper deck. The lower deck may also hold resting areas, such as a lounge that may be equipped with beds, such as convertible beds. A food distribution station is arranged on the upper deck in vertical alignment with a galley on the lower deck. All the facilities of a group of facilities on the lower deck are centrally accessible.

摘要: The present application describes a flight passenger seat for an airplane. According to an embodiment example of the present invention, the flight passenger seat comprises a back element, a seat element and an arm rest. Seat element, back element and arm rest may be able to be pivoted. Reset elements for an automatic pivoting are integrated into the back element and the seat element in such a way that they occupy as little space as possible of a traffic area, which has to be kept clear. In an advantageous manner, this allows for an enlargement of a traffic area in an airplane and thereby may effectuate a reduction of a “turn around” time of an airplane.

摘要: To save space it is often not possible to provide a comfortable seat beside a bed, for example for a second flightdeck crew. Normally, sitting on a bed is not comfortable for extended periods of time. The present invention states a backrest arrangement which can be changed from a foldaway position to a seating position. The backrest arrangement can be hinged to a wall. In foldaway position, the distance between a lower region of the backrest and the essentially vertical surface is shorter than in the seating position. In this way the backrest arrangement can for example be attached to a wall beside a bed; in the seating position the backrest arrangement provides a comfortable and safe seat.
